probably the worst from soulslike games. Ive played dark souls 3 multiple times, cant wait to play bloodborne soon but elden, is huge world made of cheap bosses, grinding and collecting streched to make it big so it feels as a long game. You need to collect not 15 bones like in dark souls but 41 seeds because it makes gameplay longer, most of enemies are reskinned, many quests, teleporting, trying to find the place you need to go cant be more badly made as it is now. Game had 1 good boss and it was this lightning dragon but i forget his name already. There is almost nothing new compare to dark souls and if is its worse than it was before. Its open world so 1 boss on a horse at starting place can kill you? To make it so you dont know where to go? Its a huge game, huge mess, garbage.

The awe I felt when I first opened the double doors into The Lands Between. The chills, the butterflies, the loss of breath, the ecstatic joy for what’s to come, the admiration for that gorgeous view. I’ve felt this feeling before, when I fell in Love so long ago. I’ll never forget Elden Ring for helping me feel that feeling again.

This game is so incredible. As my first souls like. I was astounded by the story and the events that took place before and during the game. I'll never forget the feeling of beating my first real boss. My heart racing yelling "I can't believe I did it!" It changed something in my heart. Wich is so silly. But my patience has grown exponentially. And the way I look at hardships as well. And the game gave me hope in story telling. Story telling is so important. Thanks from soft.

The best part of Elden Ring is that they don't try to force you to think or feel a certain way about things. No character is sitting there, tell you their life story. You know enough to empathize with them (or even despise them) but the details are left ambiguous. It doesn't matter anyway. Because you're coming in at the final act. All the players have played their part and are merely refusing to exit the stage. But the scariest part of all of Elden Ring. It's not the Scarlet Rot, the formless mother, the impending doom of the frenzied flame. The scariest part of Elden Ring is that you, as a player, are deciding the entirety of the world's fate. And yet, you will never see the full consequence of that decision.

Ranni's quest is so far above all the other! I really hoped that the dlc would focus on the divinity of the Black Moon, potentially even set on the large Moon seen at the end of the movie. I'm willing to bet that there will be a DLC dedicated to her too.

PLEASE READ If you can't find one of the turtles in whichever one of the puzzles, make sure you haven't accidently gone to a Site of Grace. When you use a Site of Grace, be it for resting or warping, all creatures respawn, but since the game code also sees the puzzle turtles as creatures, those get de-spawned until you interact with the little imp statues to get the hints again. This usually only ever affects the puzzle of Chelona's Rise because all 3 turtles are so spread out that you might be tempted to warp there. Resist the temptation and walk lmao

The puzzle for Chelona’s Rise does not work. I went to all 3 locations for the big turtles and they do not spawn. I ran to each location without fast travel and still nothing. They don’t spawn for me :( anyone help? And yes I clicked on the statue to start the puzzle and I even turned off and on my console to start it over to see if that helps. Nothing.

I bought 2 games last year. Elden Ring and Diablo 4. Elden Ring reminded me of what gaming used to be about. Fun and developed by people who clearly have a passion for games and not being strangled by someone elses "rules". It spits in the face of the majority of companies who release games with 1 thing in mind. How to manipulate the player into spending more and more money on said game. It's never about making sure the game is fun... only addictive. Rarely does it ever lineup. When I bought Diablo 4, i got 6 hours of story. Then the game wanted money. I had to keep doing the same thing, over and over and over... but - the shop just makes the game feel cheap. This became clear when seasons started. The devs don't even understand their community. They don't care about anything but trying to keep people hooked simply to please some corporate fatcats who step on people less fortunate. "heres 2 hours of "Content" and hours of grinding, enjoy! but make sure to buy the Season Pass to make your pointless character that only you see look "Somewhat" different. Selling "Portal" Colors. Like come on... It's a sad time for gaming. D4 opened my eyes and I will never buy a game again that has micro transactions in it every again. It's a red flag for me to see it. Microtransactions = Gameplay suffers. It's not a bout the player, having fun and playing the game. It's about how to hook the player to be able to squeeze whatever money they can with manipulation. That feeling I got playing Elden Ring... would of been destroyed if it included "Buy Runes unlock x10 Great Runes!" - "Make your character look like a furry, only 39.99, LIMITED EDITION".

Been calling my wife "my dear consort eternal" after finishing Elden Ring.
