Thx for the vid. Should the Review Quick Chart software run on a MacBook Pro w/ current Sonoma (V14) OS? I downloaded the program but receiving an "application can't be opened" error.
How do you hook up your portable capacitor former if the drive does not have external DC bus terminals? Do you just hook it up to the AC input? Do you have to open the drive to get directly to the DC bus?
Hello Martin, For drives that do not have terminals for direct access to the DC bus, you would connect the capacitor former to 2 of the AC output (motor) terminals; connecting this way feeds the DC voltage from the former back through the output circuit of the drive and into the capacitor bank. Since the capacitor former outputs DC voltage, you would not want to connect it to the AC input of the drive.
