Walk to the Cascades de l'Artigue in the Ariège department, Pyrenees, France
17-06-2024 Today we are going for a walk to the Cascades de L'Artigue in the Ariège department in the Pyrenees. We only wanted to make a short visit here today and then take a second walk to Lac d'Izourt, but the valley was so beautiful that we stayed here much longer than planned. We will therefore not visit Lac d'Izourt today and will visit it at a later time.
Given the vegetation in this valley, it is also a beautiful short walk to take in the autumn when all the trees have changed colour, or a little earlier in the spring when all the broom is in full bloom.

Merci pour votre réponse. Les Pyrénées sont magnifiques. Il y a beaucoup de beaux endroits à découvrir. D'autres vidéos avec de belles vallées sont à venir.
Super mooi! Wij zijn er over twee weken en kunnen niet wachten om hier te lopen. Ik hoorde van anderen geruchten over illegale jacht buiten het jachtseizoen om, hebben jullie hier ervaring mee? Anders kopen we voor de zekerheid een oranje vest voor onze hond.
Ik zou me over illegale jacht maar geen zorgen maken, het is gewoon jachtseizoen. Als er ergens gejaagd wordt is dat duidelijk aangegeven. Waarschijnlijk kom je boven op Mont Caroux in deze periode ook schaapherders tegen met hun honden. Hou daar rekening mee en zorg dan dat je hond aangelijnd is om een aanvaring met de Patou honden te voorkomen. Ik weet het niet zeker maar volgens mij moet de hond hier altijd aangelijnd zijn. Veel plezier in dit mooie gebied waar nog veel meer te zien is dan alleen Mont Caroux.
