Congratulations Amy! I am Yoga Teacher and presently studying Clinical Medical Assistant program at the SF State University. love Family Medicine and Primary Care and I would like to work in that specialty for the rest of my life.FM is so broad that I know I will learn everyday for the rest of my life. I would also like work in Africa as a MA volunteer one day!

Good video, the best decision I made as a physician assistant was to create a side hustle for extra income streams. It has really helped me and my family financially stable.

@@imanicain6485 the pay is good but it never hurts to have an extra stream of income to live a more comfortable lifestyle. it all depends on the individual and their situation/goals!
@Maria Bryant I made a couple of investments but my investment in forex and crypto has been yielding good profits and I don't think of stopping anytime soon. Investment is key.
Stock, forex, crypto currency, Real Estate, hedge funds and ETFs are good investments as well 😊

how do u study for the EORs? I am also in pa school, i have 1 more semester this clinicals!! also is the Apple Watch super helpful during clinic? congrats on be done w/ rotations!!!
thanks for watching! I typically do the Smarty pance eor exam the first week to gague where im at. then ill either read up on topics on the pearls or do practice questions on rosh (or any question bank) then the week of the eor I'll do the smarty pance eor exam again for review. but mainly just a bunch of practice questions. the boost exams on rosh eor specific help as well! congrats on surviving didactic :)
Oh and the watch not really necessary. Just handy to see who texts you when you’re trying to be sneaky lol

@@catpa-s3387 yes way more! It also depends on the type of rotation you get surgery and ER are long hours and you get home drained but it’s not like you have to sit and study every night

Hi there! Moving in with your folks is a good idea. It's too tough to get through PA school AND try to work FULL-TIME, just to be "independent".🙄 I did it. However, my wife and I moved into a TINY apartment, after we got married. She worked full time, and I worked as a security guard and CNA. My grades suffered for it! I wouldn't recommend working whilst in PA school to anyone! 😫I had moved in with my folks when I was 25, to finish undergrad. I earned my BS in Biology in 94', married in 95', then PA school in 97', finished by 00' and, working by 01'. I'm excited for your future! It sounds like you're headed for great things, Lord willing!😃🙏🏽 PA is such an awesome career! Take care!🙂👋🏽👨🏾⚕️

I know sometimes we have know choice to survive and have to work and be in school full time I did it during undergrad it was tough and like you my grades suffered making my journey into pa school even harder. But It’s not impossible just a lot to juggle! Glad you made it through! Thank you 😊

Hi you can look into CASPA its the platform where you submit applications for schools and it tells you deadlines etc. If the school doesn't use CASPA go to the school website for more details! Hope this helps.
