How to videos featuring arts & crafts and models for kids and adults. My arts and crafts projects are made using inexpensive materials like scrap cardboard and styrofoam from leftover food trays and plates for the gliders. Sculpey polymer clay and waterbased craft paints I use for my sculpting projects. I also use Tulip puffy paint for raised details such as rivets. Aleene's original Tacky Glue is my glue of choice since it's thicker, strong and flexible for the gliders I build. Occasionally I use 5 minute epoxy for my sculpture work. I also include videos of models and toys from my childhood and a few I've acquired over the years. Stir Stick X-29 Mini Glider
Here's another mini glider I made loosely based on the Grumman X-29 experimental jet, two of which were built for NASA back in 1984. I used a stir stick, a couple styrofoam plates, scrap cardboard and assembled with white glue. The glider has a wingspan of just under 8 inches and flies okay indoors but is tricky to get adjusted. Not a really good stable flier but fun, would probably fly better on a larger scale with a 10 inch or more wingspan. Thanks for watching and have a great day!! #creative #kidscraft #glider #simple

Here's a fun glider I built based on the De Havilland Vampire early jet fighter originally designed and built in 1943. I used two coffee stir sticks for the tail booms, thin styrofoam from plates for the wings and tail, cardboard for the main body/fuselage and assembled with white glue. Here's a fun jet glider I built loosely based on the Swedish Saab J37 "Viggen" fighter. "Viggen" translates to Thunderbolt in English, but also means "Tufted Duck" whichever you prefer!
