All of this cannot be a coincidence since both animals are represented in Mexica (Aztec) and Mayan culture. Just Google who Quetzalcoatl was and that’ll answer your question. @@marym.6782 Yes, I've know of the god-figure for a long time. I realize they chose to represent the snake visually, purposefully, but I still think the echoes are probably happy accidents. They would not have been able to guess how an echo would sound, until a structure was erected. It makes for a good tourist story tho.
