I smell her perfume, before I hear her over the music in my headphones. I feel the brush of her soft hand against my cheek and I tremble. Its not long before I feel the weight of her sit down on my lap, blocking my view of the monitor. My headphones are gently removed as she pouts at me, "You've been making music for hours! When are you going to pay attention to me!" I laugh and squeeze her against my chest, "I'm sorry, you know I get distracted when I'm in music land. What did you want to do?" "In my defense, I'm prettier than a guitar!" She continues to pout, but gently purrs as she is enveloped in my hug. "In fairness, you aren't as pretty as the stratocaster..." I tease, but she doesn't appreciate my humor today. "In fairness, you can stick that guitar up your-" The rest of her statement is blocked out by a pillow smashing against my face. If I could breath, I would be laughing. But if I would never breath again, I would die happy knowing I had a chance to love her...... ....the guitar, not the girl :P

@@AlZakhi I usually start with my guitar in open tunings and noodle around until I feel like there’s something there that I want to record. The process looks a little different every time but that’s usually how I start
