As you know Guru, Iv lost my Henderson contact. I want to tell you what he told me a year ago. During that GM search I wanted Champ. Most of us did. Telesco came in late and got the job. Why? I was told by my friend, Tom promised Mr Davis, I’ll get you your franchise quarterback. Well, he didn’t. He sat on his hands on draft day and didn’t budge, didn’t get one. We got Min-Chow. No franchise quarterback. But the real reason Tom just got canned was Mr Davis wants the new head coach and GM to come into this thing together, and that both are all in with each other. All teams should do it like that!!! If not, there’s no trust between the two. As far as why did AP roll with Min-Chow, Tom wasn’t involved with that. AP allowed Getsy to convince him Min-Chow was the best quarterback. It doesn’t matter who was best, they both suck. In my opinion other than why I said Tom was fired, this is a big move hoping to land Ben Johnson.

You had the right words “expansion franchise”. It’s exactly how I felt after I heard the Telesco news. The old Raider way is gone and the new raider not the old patriots way but the new Raider is born. Let’s go.

I am pretty sure Crosby was not happy that the practices weren’t tough enough. Not structured enough. In my opinion, Crosby signed off on the firing. He loves AP, but I think he endorsed it. He surely was asked about it beforehand, that you can bet on.

It’s about time the Raiders quit the band aids and ReBuild. I’m not mad at AP getting tossed. He doesn’t know the intricacies of head coaching game wise. Alot of fans pissed but it was the right decision. The front office and ownership know telesco was a big part in not spending money and making some questionable decisions in terms of letting certain guys walk and wanting a certain qb to start. Can't put this all on ap and I'm glad mark was fair about it.

I think fans are too obsessed with a “running quarterback”. Ya it’s great you have a quarterback who can run a 4.3 but there’s durability concerns with that. I worry about Daniels long term health! Lamar misses lots of games, and he’s young, as running quarterbacks get a bit older, those hits add up. In my opinion the greatest attribute a quarterback can have is pocket presence. I’m in the minority here but I firmly believe Coach Pierce is safe. Not only safe, but I don’t believe the brass is even considering firing AP. I don’t believe he’s even on any type of hot seat. Raider guru, Merry Christmas brother. I have coached the Qb position for years. I see Aidan’s strengths and also see his weaknesses. Love the kid because he battles. He never complains is always overlooked and even many of his own fans want him replaced. Could the Raiders use an upgrade at Qb? Sure. However, watching Aidan battle has been awesome to watch. Every challenge from McDaniels putting him in bad spots, to playing w an OC who never called plays before, to changing of HCs, to basically being ignored and overlooked by that HC, to coming in without a #1 Wr when he finally got the nod to working with another new OC (his 4th in under a year in and half) to breaking a finger, coming back to playing an amazing game in KC, then getting carted off in TB….to now limp into this game and produce some great plays and help the Raiders snap a 10 game losing streak…..God Bless this kid. Either way, Aidan O’Connell has a big fan in me. If he is the starter or not next season, I know every time he is in there, I feel the offense will be fine. So glad the kid is a Raider!

Glad that you are back, I was getting worried. I know it's difficult to find positive things to talk about with this team. I believe that Sanjit said that Mark Davis wants to win out the last two games. If that is true, expect Aidan to start. If Mark is just blowing smoke, then I would expect Ridder to play. I think that AP is gone. I was really rooting for him, but he makes too many mistakes and doesn't seem to learn from them. Including trying to be a run first team, when we didn't have the personnel for it, and the defense was loading the box. If he can't be flexible enough to realize where the teams strengths and weaknesses are, then I really can't see him coming back. AP said it was his decision to start Menshew (I really don't believe that) then that is just another nail in his coffin. Some people say AP didn't get a fair shot, and that is true to an extent, maybe without all the injuries, starting a better QB etc, etc, and won some games, it could have helped cover up many of the mistakes he makes. As it is, the mistakes are more glaring than they normally would be. I really don't trust Mark Davis's decision making, and if Telesco brought in Menshew and ordered AP to start him, then I don't trust his decision making (Good at drafting decisions of course). The only thing I can hope for is that Tom Brady can make good decisions, and that remains largely unproven.

This season was filled with injuries. I think they may have over did training camp. I know AP was trying to instill a physical mindset but looking at how the season went, I think it might be smart to dial it back some next yr. Way to many season ending injuries to be a coincidence

I really think that Telesco's thumb was heavy on the scale to start Menshew. TT brought him in for a guaranteed 15 mil. That was his boy. But if TT is a genius and planned the tank, then starting Menshew, got us a massive losing season, and got rid of DA's high contract, and declining results. But Telesco's plan is falling apart now that Menshew is out for the season. Aidan looked too good during the Chiefs game. TT has to find a way to keep Aidan off the field, or its going to be more difficult to get Sheduer. They say that Aidan is sick and didn't practice. Will that keep him off the field? At least one game? We do need another QB. What happens now if Aidan gets hurt? Maybe we can try Jocobe Meyers? 🤣

Didn't Aidan get sacked 3 times? Mahomes got sacked 5 times? Does that mean that Mahomes can't scramble? The line judge threw his flag, blew his whistle, ran onto the field with a "kill the clock" signal, and began twirling his arms indicating he saw a "false start." That is a DEAD BALL FOUL. Which means that play was over BEFORE it really began. Anything that occurs after that official's whistle is blown-including fumbles, is FOREVER null and void. The officials absolutely, 100%, cannot, ever get in a huddle and overrule a blown whistle. The infraction was indeed an illegal shift; HOWEVER, the line judge blew the whistle BEFORE the snap. Play over! Fumble nullified. Raiders' football. The Raiders got screwed. Btw, I have no horse in this race. Not a Raiders fan.
