From the Writers standpoint I strongly feel it is them that's got it wrong, as is quite unbelievable to portray Aaron as a rapist. He is a Lovely lad, kind, gentle, thoughtful, caring ... and I like Amy just as much! so like Amy I just want this to all go away😢CANCEL this story! Amy is no liar and neither is he a Rapist! STUPID WRITERS!!!

It's really not that unbelievable. There is no proof so all anyone has to go on is Aaron's and Amy's word. This kind of thing happens in real life. Naturally people are going to believe the person they are either friends with and have a long personal history with. I don't know how the writers intend to wrap up this storyline but it ending with Aaron walking around free and Amy wanting everything to go back to normal is very realistic. Sad but realistic.

If you think about it though, from Abi's point of view Aaron is a helpless lad who has gone through a rough time and usually comes across as a nice guy, Abi has taken him under her wing and if you think about it it would be quite hard to believe from her point of view

The thing is after leaving it for so long before going to the police there is no physical or viable evidence left. Even If Abby got the truth out of him it’s till Amy’s word against his sadly and even if Abby got a confession on tape it could be admissible in court as a forced confession

Everyone knows what happened she passed out and he carried on regardless, witch is rape because she didn’t and couldn’t consent to sex. The problem is as fare as the law goes because Amy has left it to long to report what happened to her there is no longer any physical or viable evidence to back up her story and sadly in the eyes of the law it’s Amy’s word against Aaron’s . The only way Amy can get any justice is if Aaron confesses to the police and I can’t see him doing that.
