Fucking brilliant!!!
I LOVE MARILLION WITH FISH AND I LIKE SOME ALBUMS WITH THE NEW SINGER, CHEERS FROM MEXICO 🤘🏻💀💀💀
Wonder what would have happened if Fish hadn’t left🤔
Je voulais être Genesis à la place de Genesis ! 🙄
Wonderful concert, very nice you posted it here ! I enjoyed watching it after 31 years. Fish is the top entertainer, I go see him in october and in november, Utrecht and Haarlem
A jednak zagrali razem 💪 NICE 🍒👌👍🇵🇱🖐
Amazing reunion 🇬🇧🙌❤️ I wish I’d been in Weatherspoon that day 😜😁
Fish on Friday!
What a surprise! Didn't noticed, that they were back on stage with Fish for a gig. 💪
Pete didn't get a hug wtf
Saw them warm up for Rush in the early 80’s at Radio City music Hall, I had never heard of them until that day. Have been a huge fan of the Fish era ever since.
This is the Original.....sorry for all the fantastic new area........
I saw Marillion years ago at Friars in Aylesbury a fan club gig a bkoke my dad worked with got me & a mate free tkts.
Steve Hogart go home..... 😊
This is Marillion.... ❤
Quelle émotion de les revoir ensemble! My favorite band since 40 years!! thx!
awesome, imagine the heights they could have achieved if only Fish had stayed the course, i love the music Marillion made with FISH but were never the same when he left, i had the chance to see them at their peak so i take that has a blessing.
merci Fish and Marillion !!!
Awesome footage at the end.... oh if only their manager wasn't such a "d1k" and a rip-off merchant... oh what could have been. Btw - Fish is just one amazing person, he's so down to earth... no pretensions.
The smiles says it all...... and what an awesome track too....
Near the end of the Clutching At Straws tour (still their best album to me), when they played in San Francisco, they were somehow convinced by a local dj (Greg Stone for anyone who cares) to do a show at a little nightclub in San Jose he co-managed, The Cabaret. They came down with a bare bones stage set up and did a show that was amazing. When they played "Torch Song," Fish picked up a drink and wandered around through the audience. And when he sang, "A hand held over a candle," he grabbed a candle off a table and held his hand over it. You didn't get that at other shows. We had no idea they were about to come apart at the seams, but it was inevitable. Actually, I thought Marillion got better with Hogarth, and Fish got better solo, and on that album you could hear them already pulling in different directions, so it was meant to be.
Fish and others entertained the troops in theatre, what an amazing night, thank you Fish, big thanks to the backing dancers also.
It case you didn't know. Derek got the nickname Fish, because his landlandy would only let him bath once a week. So he made a real night of it.
That's definitely the best line up....for me anyways....
And they just walk off into the pub! This is classic, why haven't I seen this before now?
Went to a concert once just to see Marillion open. When the main act came on, we sat through a few numbers, looked at each other, and left. I remember exactly who the main act was, but I don't want to say.
Was it Queen?
Saw them in 85/86 open for Rush in the midwest. I specifically went for Marillion but unfortunately the rest of the crowd wasn't having it and was jeering and booing thru their entire set. They were fantastic just not a good audience.
lololololololol
Always amazes me how far Fish got without being able to sing.
Looks like the pub at the end did well that day. Everyone followed the band!
Grim
No love lost for the bass player then…
They hate each other
They hugged afterwards. Pete was gonna come up on stage with his bass to start the song.
Straight off the stage and straight in the pub,..The Bell to be exact,. Proper Rock band !
Magic.
There is no Marillion without Fish. For me, in most of the cases the singer makes what the band is. They should have looked out for another name when he leaved because it wasnt the same anymore afterwards. The first 4 albums were masterpieces and my older brother loved this band. He brought marillion to me.
Marillion are fantastic AND always will be one of my top bands. The guys were never up their own arses like some I could mention. Very humble. I met Pete Trewavas and Ian Mosley at an album launch party for 'Marbles'. They were lovely. What's with Fish? Turning his back on the crowd while singing is just the height of ignorance.
Tyson fury on vocals
i was there, me and my partner were at a loose end and decided to drive from Lancashire to Aylesbury to see Fish doing a free gig, couldn't believe our luck that a mini reunion took place, did see Mr Mosley wandering around pre gig which did create a spark of optimism, can't believe it was 16 years ago :-0 Never got to see Marillion with Fish prior to this as only got into the band in '88 post split
Vocals are shot. Real shame they split up...they could have made some more amazing music together.
the 80s were crap until these chaps turned up
watch and learn Hogarth.
Muy buenos
Good to see him in such a good shape indeed .stay sober
Ow, what it was this occasion???
That video from 2007 is better than most of the concert videos today lol, thats brilliant seeing fish on stage with the band
fantastic great band
This footage should be preserved in the National Library of Congress
That's Marillion
I needed to see this. This lineup is Marillion for me. Still listen to their first four albums to this day.
Whilst I tolerate the "new" Marillion and don't get me wrong they've done some good stuff (including a track on my wedding video!), but this line up will always be Marillion for me....
Maybe sometimes , new Singer is not so bad 🤘 Genesis , Nightwish , Marillion 🙏🏻, Toto , Styx , Art Of Arnachy ! There must be more ! Then no Queen ( Freddy ) , no ELO ( Jeff ) no Supertramp ( Roger H ) no Sweet ( Brian ) no Slade ( Noddy ) no Sailor ( George ) no Thin Lizzy ( Phil ) No Mike & The Mechanics ( Paul G ) no Manfred Mann ( Chris T ) That’s My opinion 🤘
@@oveandersen3807 Kinda agreed with some of those bands you mentioned, however it never panned out for bands like AC/DC without Bon Scott and I am afraid Marillion is in the same boat in that regard, I mean without Fish, they were never Marillion.
Lol, the 'new' Marillion have been Marillion for over 35 years and have released 16 albums. For those of us who became fans during that time, the fish stuff is ok, but not much more than a curiosity. He only did four albums of which only two I rate, the others are just a Genesis rip off. Brave kicks the arse of any of those first four albums for me.
Marillion are still an amazing live band. This is not it though.
