First time easing into boost after 500 miles of clutch break-in. Still rocking Lito's base tune. Smooth as butter for every mile, save belt/hub issues. No revisions needed at this point. Nice 👍
What are you making to the wheels with that blower, what injectors? Was thinking about getting rid of my m122 for one of those.
600+
These blowers are great! Very efficient and make great power. My IATs are low and that's what makes you dangerous with a PD car.
@THE3VGA ya I got the titanic on my dob car. It an amazing exchanger. Might try to pick up one of these tvs blowers soon.
Is your motor built? I’m assuming it is on 19 psi
Yes, it does not have factory internals.
Sounds sooo good. Have you had any issue with hood clearance on these? Like did you have to run lowered/adjustable motor mounts?
The alternator rubs the hood a tiny bit, but you can fix that in 5 mins.
Hey I saw a while back that you had 4.10 gears, did you ever end up changing that when you went boosted? Reason I ask is because at one point I bought a set and was going to rebuild my rear diff, but since then I've heard that boost and 4.10s can be a little too harsh. Also I see that your in GA, I am as well, who did you get to do the work on the engine? Still looking to find someone to build mine that's reputable.
I built and assembled the engine myself. Atlanta Speed in Gainesville does my machine work. The 4.10s with the Magnum is perfect for me. I have the 2.66 variant. Engine Speed: 6,700RPM 1st gear: 54mph 2nd gear: 80mph 3rd gear: 110mph 4th gear: 140mph 5th gear: 186mph
@@THE3VGAAwesome thanks for the info! Also what made you go for that blower vs something more traditional? Still deciding on the blower for mine. All I know is the engine bay looks clean with the TVS 😂.
Just curious, are you using stock crank?
@@ZalR713 yes
@@THE3VGA Awesome I have the same car, same color with all FBO, DR cams and Paxton kit. Got a spare block in the garage wanting to build but just keep asking myself if it’s worth getting a Manley crank. After seeing your vids, I’m impressed and even more impressed now you said you’re using stock crank. I’m aiming for 700-750ish rwhp, you think I’ll be good with the stock crank? Not trying to break the bank and would rather use the funds to buy other things for the car. Thanks, and keep it up!
Does that instrument cluster work in the 05-09 GT versions? (Appears to be the 07-09 GT500 cluster)
I love these 3vs but damn they have the most boring interiors
Definitely if you have the base trim, but they're not too bad to be nearly 20 years old!
My civic would smoke this shitbox
upload a video of your civic doing a pull
no way youre flexing owning a clapped 4cyl
civic is prolly faster but its literally a honda bru
Get it shawty
@@secretperson9962 it dont matter if a civic is "faster" theres no honor in winning a race in a 4cyl fartbox. it only wins cause its lightweight, it looks terrible and sounds terrible winning
Every day I want to leave California more and more. For the Lito tunes do you need to buy a specific tuning device to flash the tunes from the ECU or can you use any tuner like a Bama one? Also would love to see just like a 10 minute pov drive of this monster
I will try to get a good long drive filmed. That would be awesome. You can just buy a cheap SCT Xcal 3 for Lito's tuning.
I grew up in San Diego, live outside of st louis. You could run open headers out here, cops won't mess with you.
Man it sounds so good !
Time for big brake kit lol
It has GT500 Brembos, but you're right lol. Needs some bigger ones!

@@THE3VGAI imagine you upgraded to steel braided lines as well, as well as DOT 4 fluid at least

Badass🔥
All fun and games until the neighbors cow walks in front of the mustang..lol..
That would suck! Thankfully cows move slowly and I swept this stretch before the pull.
These smaller TVS blowers do sound good. To this day though I still think the loudest positive displacement blower I’ve ever run was my old Kenne Bell 2.2L. When I started to spin it hard making close to 20# that thing was a real screamer. It was even louder than my ported Eaton on full send.
What size engine is that
It's a 3V 4.6L with .020 larger bore.
does the TVS blower fit directly on the 3v? if not what had to be done ?
No. This, TVS blower is made for GT500s. You will need a lower intake custom made for the 4.6L that will adapt a GT500 supercharger. This intake manifold was made by the Department of Boost. You can find more information @ www.departmentofboost.com. It's very expensive and quite a bit of custom work. You will have to build a heat exchanger system, modify your engine harness and fuel system. If you have questions, email the support address on their website. Tell them Cole sent you. Might get you a discount. 🤷♂️
However, the owner Jason can build these things for you (at a certain cost of course).
@@THE3VGAI LOVE THIS BODY STYLE AND THAT'S WHY I HAVE A 08 GT500 AND MY 07 427 EDITION CONVERTIBLE SUPER SNAKE AND MY GRABBER BLUE KENNY BELL COUPE SUPER SNAKE AND MY 07 SHELBY GT.
what wheels you running
It’s videos like this that remind me of why I’ve held onto my 2008 GT for so long!
They're good cars! Especially when you add the right touches. Check out some of my other videos.
Yooo that was so cool🔥🔥🔥
Dude.. this is huge inspriation for my build! I was thinking about 4.6 4V swapping my car with a roots blower of some kind and the HRE’s look badass! I also recognize the light up SVT door sill plates (I still have the 2006 issue of the Ford Racing Parts catalogue with those in it when they first came out) illuminated cup holders. This is exactly how I would mod my 2005 GT. Only silver with painted blue stripes. I took many screenshots and really appreciate you sharing! I plan to keep my car forever, even though these get a lot of flak. Hope you hold onto her for a while!
Thank you very much! I appreciate your compliments. I've had this car for going on 14 years. She's goin' nowhere!
Instagram handle? Ive got questions on the build.
Hell yeah, what's the motor build and how much boost?
"Aluminator" block with all the goodies. .020 bore, 9.8:1 compression, DOB manifold, ported heads, blower cams, Trinity 2.3 TVS. 2.65" upper and 12% ATI Superdamper lower. I think it's on about 18-20 psi right now. Way too much for how I like to drive! This was my touge car before I ruined it with all this power. That mountain in the background is my sanctuary.
@@THE3VGA Holy cow, yeah no kidding, that's awesome. Definitely a handful, my GT500 makes about 17psi with a bit less compression being a stock 5.4, and I wouldn't want to floor it around a bend lol.
@AllThingsBoost I bet thats rowdy! I have a lot of seat time in the 07-09 GT500s. I see that you have some videos on your channel. Excited to check them out.
Awesome build, love the whole car. Wheels look great too, need to find a set like that
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words. Lots of blood sweat and tears in this one. I've had her since she was brand new. The only thing I haven't done myself is the gear set and the machine work on the engine.
Are you running street tires? If so no wonder you cant run those when making 500 wheel and up even before that sometimes. My 07 gt500 has 410 gear and when it was bolt ons (550 rwhp) and it would dead hook 2nd on drag radials it would even stick 1st on warm days. Now its at 750 wheel with a 2650 gen3r stock long block i can stick 2nd on fresh 325/50 et street r tires. Gotta have drag radials.
20x11s w/ 315 Michelin Pilot Cup 2. They hook when I want them to 👌. Drag radials are for people who drive straight.
Sounds very Nice! We don’t want electric !
🤤🤤😩😩😩😩
This sounds great and all but it’s nothing compared to my 2021 Chevy equinox. This is a joke btw, it actually sounds great
Traction light being svt is wild😳
That isn't the traction light that's the light these are 07-09 gt500 gauges he's installed and they had the option of making svt light up all the time or use it as a shift light and you can set it up to 6000 rpm. It's flashing because he's instantly hitting whatever rpm it's set at because of lack of traction.
sounds crazy dude
🤘 ty
sounds great
Thanks!
What wheels are those?
Looks and sounds great. I have a much tamer DOB car. I’m at the crossroads of built 3V vs Coyote swapping.
Keep the 3V! They rip when built well. While installing this engine I had another high compression 3V long block built by Atlanta Speed. It's sitting on an engine stand. Need to sell it!
@@THE3VGA Do you still have it? Can you share the specs on that motor?
@ZalR713 I actually just sold it this week. Basically gave it away too. Sold it for $1,000 less than I had in the machine work alone. 😢
Do you live over in Forsyth county? Seen a white 3v that looked like yours a few months ago
@@THE3VGA gotcha I’m out in dawsonville but your car is clean af I love it!😮💨🔥
@Demoralize_url 🤘 appreciate it! Maybe we can get a mountain run going this Spring/Summer.
