I think the stalker games have the best use of a lean mechanic in any fps ive ever played. Knowing i could die to 1 to 2 bullets had me peaking corners and clearing rooms like a navy seal

Knights. I remember playing the lawbringer mission on realistic... and dying at the very end by having my own minions shove me off the fucking ramp. The PK mission is presented as if its supposed to be a stealth chapter, with the player sneaking around the 40 gazillion generic officers, but you actually have to fight almost all of them, with PK's "IOU damage output" tier of offence. The elevator-mead hall setpiece fucks tho. The campaign ram is who the breach ram's girlfriend tells him not to worry about.

Gotta love how the story is just entirely unupdated. Because they have the OG minion killing animations for each hero. Its one hell of a adjustment aftwe playing mutiplayer , out here missing heavy parries simply because of how ungodly slow they are. Blows my mind I wasnt able to light parry in rhe past. When I played Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl back in the days, I got very interested in the Chernobyl accident. Watched documentary, read articles asked my parents. I knew everything about the reactor and the accident. I was 1 year old when it happened. My parents stayed under the radioactive rain and ate poisoned food because the government didn't tell about the explosion. ☢️ Great game series. We are so lucky to have Stalker 2.
