Why are the inner door handles missing? 😱
Im not sure what you mean. Arm rest, and door interior door handles to open the doors are all there.
Strange color combo. Not a perfect beetle. 17,000 dollars is out of the question for that car.
Can you send some comps? I want to price it appropriately. Tons of bran new parts. Definitely not 100% original, but I outline all that I'm aware of in my ad.
Where did you post it? A link? Why wiggle the shifter so many times?
I don't know. Just a habit I guess. I've driven a lot of old cars with sloppy shift gates. This ones not too bad though. You can find the car here: detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/d/detroit-1967-volkwagen-beetle-vw-bug/7796363229.html and here: www.hagerty.com/marketplace/classified/1967-Volkswagen-Beetle/ab0d8bd0-d571-498f-ac4c-95fe27d256ba
Muy bien conservado..felicidades!!
Very nice. Interesting fire suppressant setup. Might be halon, used in boat engine rooms.
As long you have a good set of spark plugs and the fuel system is right, those old Chryslers will crank every time no matter how cold it is!
“ I’ll take stupid shit that makes me laugh for $500 please Alex “
!!!!!! 🫵🤣🤣🤣. You got a total P0S welfare unit bro. You gotta be embarrassed owning such a heap. You’re clearly broke and uneducated.
Cuánto puede costar un carro así en estás condiciones?
I thought you couldn't run a radio on 6 volt it had to be 12? Guess not.
I remember them slant sizes well. Tempermental, but very reliable. It should have a tube going from a cover on the exhaust manifold to the choke housing, which helps it warm up faster. Good Luck.
You don't have the snorkel tube hooked up so the carburetor can receive prewarmed air to help smooth out the idle. No wonder your choke was frozen!!!!
Qual o nome dessa musica q toca no radio do carro?? Tipo jazz
Como gostaria de ter recursos para importar uma para o Brasil. Uma 65 ou 66 ❤❤
Pump twice on really cold days, then to the floor and slow up to set the automatic choke. After start, wait 30 seconds and tap gas LIGHTLY to bring choke to mid level. Drive gently, first 2 miles to warm up tramsmission and grease along with engine. If running fast at a light, another tap will bring down revs. GO.
At least you know how to start a carbureted engine and you keep yours maintained! It seems that a bunch of ignorant drivers (and probably some idiots) don’t know how to start a carbureted engine (and/or keep the carbureted serviced), and then they blame the vehicle (and it takes them several times to get it to start).
Dude, you made the Dodge Dart video I always wanted to make, thanks ! ❤
Unbelievable cars these days won't even start if they get wet.
My grandpa used to tell me a story all the time about back in the late 50's or 60's(whenever 12v became mainstream) he had a 1950(?) Maybe Ford with a 6v. He went to leave work at 11pm and it was like -15 out and his was the only one that started lol
I want it
Love that round dashboard, looks like a pinball machine
my 72 Dart swinger would start no matter the temp outside. Northern PA winters just as cold. You have carb issues there
Wow it's so quiet I even thought you just gave up until I saw the fumes
Qual o nome dessa musica q toca no rádio??
*That much gas would flood a 440 Magnum. hahaha*
That old lady needs her self some good grarge don't leave her in cold!
One of the best ever made
!!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Смех и только😂 у меня тойота виста была 92года так она в -49 по цельсию без гаража только до ключа!!!
I think you “flooded” it at first. No one today probably knows what that means. One good pump of the accelerator will do it better.
When I was in elementary school in the early 80's, a small private school, they had a Plymouth van that my mom drove. We picked up the other kids along the way to school. My job was to go outside before time to leave and get it cranked up. That Chrysler starter sound is indelibly etched in my memory, along with pumping the gas pedal and all the re-cranks needed to get it going and then racing the motor to keep it going.
Did that car have a slant 6 engine??
Good luck starting a Tesla in those cold temps!
This is what i got in 1976 as a teenager to drive myself and two brithers to school. I loved that car! I had Gabriel high jackers on it so the fenders would clear the Big Boss 60's on back lol, the cam went flat in the 400ci that was in it so a friend had a Lemans with a 389ci that had good cam and lifters so i put those in and also found a carter quadra jet on a boneville that had a 455ci in it at a salvage yard so i took manifold and carb and put it on my car. This is how a poor guy built his hot rod back in the day lol. Everything fit and the manifold bolted right up! It would smoke those Big Boss 60's just so you know lol.😎🤠👍oh the Lemans i took the good cam and lifters out of wasnt being used it was sitting in the woods said his brother had parked it there a year or so earlier, still owed money on it and didnt want the repo guy to get it lol. I shouldve got the his&hers shifter out of it but didnt need it at the time. Ya know that may have been a GTO been so long i cant remember, anyway cool cars like GTO's and roadrunner's, chevelle's where a dime a dozen back then. I mean the ones sitting and not being driven. 🤷♂️🙋♂️
Sure beats an EV

Парню повезло, в том, что, не пришел хозяин машины и не надавал ему по ушам.
Car crusher
I love older car's 👍 not the Ten-Cans and Air bags there making now! 🙃💪🤗
This is what happens when the good car won't start and you're facing the prospect of having to burn a personal or vacation day. That vintage seat was as hard as a concrete bench!
damn! nice new yorker53
nice 🦾
I like your car man.......gotta love the 1950s cars that were very classy in a jiffy.
It's not "cold morninf" ;) - welcome to Siberia, Russia! Stoopid video...
With as many times as he patted the gas pedal and flooded it, I am surprised it ever started.
Where is that in Michigan? You've got some cool radio stations programmed in.
Just how good they used to make them so they would last but not today
these cars were daily drivers for everyone, and they would have to start no matter what. And it used to get a lot colder in them days.. especially up here in canada. My grandfather was the engineer at fords who would pull a random car off the line in the 30s and send it up north further to cold start it. and do run downs. tear it apart and figure out why and how to fix it if they didn't start or work properly.
The transmissions in those 50-53’s were dismal… sure would be nice to have an A833 in it
