Digital Divas is a movement to change the culture of how we see women in STEM majors and careers. Through Eastern Michigan University, Digital Divas strives to bring change to how people see women in STEM roles. There is a huge gender gap when it comes to some sciences, technology, engineering, and math amongst girls and women. Digital Divas brings the disparities to the forefront by combating issues head-on. With the help of our corporate partners, GameAbove, AT&T, DTE Energy Foundation, Consumers Energy, Mercedes-Benz Finacial, and the AAUW, we are providing spaces where girls and women can learn from each other in a cohesive environment. Our spaces are bi-annual conferences, summer camps, after school programming, mentoring programs, interviews with successful women in STEM, and exposure to an endless supply of role modes. RUclips is allowing Digital Divas to have a platform where we can share information for anyone who needs encouragement and guidance.
