Cool things that happened in the fall of 1995 to get into the feel of this music: October 6 - Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz announce the discovery of 51 Pegasi b, the first confirmed extrasolar planet orbiting an ordinary main-sequence star. Nov 1 - The last signal is received from NASA's Pioneer 11 spacecraft. It was launched on April 5th 1973 to study the asteroid belt, the environment around Jupiter and Saturn, the solar wind, and cosmic rays. It was the first probe to encounter Saturn, the second to fly through the asteroid belt, and the second to fly by Jupiter. Later, Pioneer 11 became the second of five artificial objects to achieve an escape velocity allowing it to leave the Solar System. Due to having to be compact, it lacked the power to send transmissions any further. It now wanders deep space alone. December 7 - NASA's Galileo Probe enters Jupiter's atmosphere. December 18 - 28 Hubble observes its first deep field, the first time any deep field was observed with enough clarity to be truly amazing. this is one of the most notable events in history as it revealed just how unfathomably vast the universe is. The picture in the link below covers a piece of sky 1/13th the size of the moon. Within that tiny patch is more galaxies than can be counted. The image represents infinity in a way, as if the image had infinite resolution, you could zoom in with your mouse wheel forever and just see an infinitely huge slice of the universe. As you zoomed, you would be looking through time itself, close and closer towards the birth of the universe. Even if you scrolled every waking moment for your entire life, you would only see an unfathomably tiny slice of the universe. It would be like exploring an area a fraction of the size of the center of an atom floating within our solar system. Big does not describe the universe in which we live. Honestly, I feel like this is one of, if not the best "Dreamwave Playlist Compilation" video I've come across so far. It captures a vastly ethereal feeling within me, one of great calmness. Something only a videogame's OST, that being Coffee Talk's, had done so far... So, thank you! To, whoever the owner(s) of the channel is (are), I hope this channel continues with it's content, and I genuinely do hope it ends up growing!
