    You're at the wrong end of Sidney Street! The building may well be called Siege House but it is nowhere near the site of the original house (number 100) which was way to the north, between Lindley Street and Wolsey Street. Do a bit more research and you'll see what I mean. Never trust signs!

Jack Straw was a leader of the revolt of 1381 (so many injustices that continued to this very day). Hampstead Heath great place (Old Bull and Bush pub). I have memories of 1948 London Olympics. If the DNA from the parents is available why not use that for comparison rather than use DNA from Richard King of the Carpark? There are still people that doubt that skeleton is really Richard III. Using known royal DNA from the 15th century will settle the questions about Richard and the Princes.

    • @londonluke6487
      @londonluke6487 11 дней назад

      @JaneKaplun-js4lp I agree with you entirely on that!! The trouble comes "with getting royal consent, for 1 exhumation, let alone several." It would be the best & most accurate solution. The late Queen "was always reluctant to grant consent for royal exhumations = lest the same should happen to her or others, in the future" she didn't want to set a Precedent. Apparently King Charles, is more open to the idea = So 🤞.

      @sessionskeith Thanks Keith, glad you found it interesting! I've since found out that "those initials & dates carved on the walls = marked the graves, of those buried in its former churchyard." You're more than welcome mate 👍

    Would love an updated video because the "Plaistow Hub" has now been built and I believe they started building the school where the car dealership used to be

      @impamiizgraa Hi There. No problem = I'm planning an update on this patch soon "just waiting for some building work, to be finished on the stairs, on the opposite side of thr station "as they take you down to a little 18th century cottage." Yes, the hub has been built now = But, they're not started the school yet "the sight is cleared & well guarded" So, hopefully they'll start work on it soon.

    Really takes one back prior to the Embankment and the wider Thames of those days. Thank you.

      @sessionskeith Yes indeed, these places & historical images = are really evocative, & help give us a mental image, of how Thames-side London was, in years gone by. Its quite surprising really = how wide the Thames originally was, & how much land hand been taken up, on its original foreshore. No problem at all Keith, its a pleasure to share London's history, with great like-minded people!
