Hello everyone! My name is Samuel Taylor Ackroyd and I am an aviation enthusiast based in Scotland, United Kingdom, & I have been an aviation enthusiast since the age of 12. ✈️
I make plane spotting videos, trip reports, takeoff & landing clips on flights I take, & vlogs of places I visit that are aviation related.
I also work full time in the aviation industry as a customer service agent at my local airport, Edinburgh Airport.

Icelandair Boeing 767-300ER at Glasgow Airport, GLA (landing, taxi & takeoff)
The Keflavik to Glasgow route operated by Icelandair (flight FI430 & FI431) is usually operated by either the Boeing 757-200/300 or the Boeing 737 Max, but sometimes the route can be upgraded to a Boeing 767-300ER on a particular day due to an increase in demand for that particular flight, & this ended up being the case on February 8th 2024. As I hadn’t yet managed to film an Icelandair 767-300ER & because the 767 is the largest aircraft in the Icelandair fleet, I fancied taking a trip out to Glasgow Airport to film that Icelandair 767-300ER, which was registered as TF-ISN.

Is it within the airport terminal or outside the airport? Please clarify if a similar shop is inside any terminal. I'll be travelling to Hannover via Amsterdam and looking to buy an airplane model as a memory of my journey.
@@PragadeishS it’s not in the terminal but it’s along an airport road which is a short taxi ride away from the terminal

Thanks for the video Samuel. They're quite rare at GLA these days (videos I mean). I'm always surprised at what easy work such a big plane makes of landing and taking off on a not particularly long runway. Do they have to restrict the load? It'll be interesting to see if the A380 remains on the route when flights to Edinburgh resume in November. Maybe they'll use a Boeing 777 after that. One interesting detail is the de-icing fluid trailing off the wings as the plane accelerates to take-off. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

@@Loftikaz Your best way of getting there is driving there by either your own vehicle or taxi as there aren’t paths to get there. Just sides of roads to walk along but no paths. There’s just a single entrance to Cotswold airport for everyone to use. No special way in or anything like that.

RB211 are amazing engines and easily one of my favorites. But there is a reason AirForce 1 stuck with the CF6. They are plenty robust and reliable.
It looks like you had more leg room than I did on my TUI flight yesterday. And we didn't have sick bags, which was unfortunate when the kid in the row in front was ill. 🤮
Wow that sounds like an awful experience! There should always be sick bags! EasyJet’s legroom on the A320s are great but on the newer A320 NEO aircraft, the legroom is rather tight. Hope you & your family had a great time in Salou!
