Step by Step - GMC 3500 Air Intake Heater Replacement
2016 GMC 3500 HD Denali with diagnostic code P154A requires replacing Air Intake Heater (Part #12697819), Air Intake Heater Gasket (Part #12638428) and Throttle Body Gasket (Part #219624). P154A - An issue has been detected in the Air Induction System.
1. Diagnostic code P154A. 0:00
2. Warning! Disconnect vehicle power 0:37
3. Disconnect air intake heater wiring harness 1:00
4. Loosen intake locking ring 1:18
5. Disconnect intake 1:37
6. Loosen and remove 4 throttle body bolts 1:50

Thank you for the video. 1st project of 2023- carb replacement.
Im working on the same model. New Carb installed and everything went smooth. The thing starts fine dosent smoke and idles fine even with the choke off. When you go to accelerate with it though it cuts out and backfires and runs like crap. I cant find my issue
Sorry for the delayed response. If you haven't resolved the issue yet, I would suggest verifing fuel flow. The carb placement can create a kink in the fuel hose. The filter may look full but when will quickly drain out if it the line is bent too much.
I have replaced the carburetor on my 2005 Bruin 350 and have the same issue as above, smooth isle but does when push the throttle . Any advice would be great
