little fun after a car meet at work on my birthday a few weeks back.... friend of mine shot the video on an older camera from 2011, but you get the idea. i never thought my truck would ever get both tires going right from the start, had a little slide to it near the end haha

ive been watching other youtube videos with people riding their bikes in slightly warmer climates and it was killing me. i had to do a quick ride, and i figured i've had the bike long enough that i could tell people a little bit about it since i never did a video when i got it.

trying to figure out if i have a driveline angle problem. ever since i added some leaves to the spring pack, i get a pretty noticeable vibration when starting off in 1st gear, gets worse with more throttle. seemingly goes away with more speed

I worked for a uniform company about 15 years ago and one of the stops on my route was the Seagrave factory! They have several completely restored old fire trucks parked inside the main office entrance! Really cool factory in a small Wisconsin town! I'm sure they would be interested in your truck, that thing is in nice shape and prime for a full restoration!

We had a Seagrave from 1943 to 1954. Still have the bell. East Islip fire department in New York.

I just had to take my 2017 Honda Accord V6 in for the same issue. The TSB that your referencing is only noting model years up to the 2016. The first time my starter was replaced. I was lucky in that I have a extended warranty that offers me bumper to bumper cover for 8yrs./120K. After the TSB was performed, it happened again and they adjusted the flywheel. Will be monitoring to see if the noise returns.
Yeah the first time I took it in for starter replacement and for the tsb, the tech working on the car never did the tsb AND bent the hell out of the transmission dipstick. I took it back to the dealership right after this video and they actually did the tsb, replaced the dipstick, and did a transmission service for free. I never heard a grind from it after that. I traded the car for a much needed full size truck in January 2023, and while I do miss the car I absolutely love my tundra
I bought a 04 crf150f for girlfriend to learn on like 2 yrs ago. She still hasn't been on it yet.lol. out i ride it all the time . Still working on my wheelies getting better but have not mastered it yet

Hello, do you recommend using this ratio compared to the stock ?
I just replaced with stock gears and it's night and day difference. If you never travel above 45mph, then these gears are great. If you do mostly higher speed street riding then go stock. My gas mileage went up a huge amount from the change back to stock. Even if you ride off road all the time, stock gearing is good enough as long as you're good with clutch control.

My friend in brazil has a shower head that is wired to the 120 household supply inside it the ground wire is directly in the flow of water. Its know as a suicide shower head in the states. Compltley legal in brazil

I'm glad you started on 2S!! because that's how you get the hang of it and learn. Then when you feel ready... slap a 3S in there and it's like a whole new TRUCK!!! Have fun man. I have a Maxx and X-Maxx. Definitely thinking of adding a HOSS to that collection.

I was wondering if they make switch box you can install between the cutoff box and water heater, where you can simply plug into that switch box with your generator cord, and heat up your tank for 30 minutes, then unplug the cord?

the ford cologne engine is a superb engine, I converted one for marine service and it was an awesome engine for more than 20 years, much better than the chevy engines typically used for this application

The ground on the top post is disconnected but it looks like you still have the positive and the ground connected using the side post terminals that plus the fact that the average starter solenoid requires about 200 amps to crank I gotta say I'm a bit sceptical that the roughly 4ah that your getting from those batteries did the trick all by their lonesome now I do believe it might work if your car battery was slightly low and giving weak crank that this might be just enough to do the trick just my $0.02 though
haze541bsn I understand your skepticism, but the side terminals were hooked up to only an Anderson connector under the bumper for running the stereo at car shows. I have measured the dead short amperage of just one battery pack as high as 60 amps. 4 in parallel plus being 14v batteries is in fact enough to start on a hot afternoon. Sadly as this was quite a few years ago I no longer have the car to refilm it. thank you for the comment!

Any Subaru has better traction than Jeeps or Range Rovers, although they're more capable off-road than the Subaru, but in a daily city living, where we are subject to snow storms, and bad weather in general, the Subaru is king of the road, there's no match. I've left Jeeps and Rovers in the dust during bad snow storms in Chicago and across the country. Better when you have Nokian tires in winter.
