I literally live nearby this airport and this literally happened half way to my birthday (16th of January) literally 7 days before i turned 13 my closest airport burned
What I'm confused about is looking at the details of the Zafira recall, the fire caused by overheating wiring is localised to the dashboard. Diesel has a very high flash point so how could it ignite from a small dashboard electrical fire? or it wasn't the diesel that ignited first?

For non-firefighters, don’t jump to the conclusion the description of ‘loud bangs’ meant that an explosion involving fuel of ICE vehicles or battery packs of hybrid or electrical powered vehicles. As sidewalls of tires (tyres) burn they will fail, in one instant. This creates a very loud bang, and released air may momentarily redirect smoke, easily leading witnesses to believe they’ve seen a fuel system explosion. Multiply bangs by four tires per car if it continues to burn. Of course for trucks (lorries) or heavy commercial trailers each tire contains more air that is at higher pressure, so failure is even more dramatic. Engineering makes fuel system explosions rare.

Thank you for your video. We just had our second parking garage fire at the SeaTac International Airport and we had similar challenges, but a better outcome. I've downloaded the report and look forward to learning from this event.

Brandstofcellen zijn in NL wel degelijk in gebruik bij huishoudens. Wij hebben zelf een Bluegen staan .. die produceert 15.000 kW per jaar. En hij produceert warmte. wij hebben alles electrisch thuis.
