you guys crack me up, Thanks for showing what steps NOT to take when replacing the battery, I wounder if this was produced for the sole reason into scaring people into using a dealership rather then DIY. I just replaced my battery and it was simple, just a standard socket set. You will need a an extension for the socket and a magnet probe to remove the hold down plate(?) and bolt. also helps if you afix a small piece a of tape to the bottom of the plate and cover up the bolt hole and push the bolt through this help retain the bolt as you position it

FORD MAVERICK BATTERY REPLACEMENT - DieHard EV Battery: H4 Group Size, 570 CCA, 710 CA Keeping all the plastics on, and simply loosen fastener for battery hold latch ~8mm. Remove / Replace straight up with a little twist and tilt. Use magnet tool to locate latch. A Magnet on a stick to jog the latch on battery base was key. AGM spill-proof battery has vent.

You guys do know that a Maverick Hybrid has 2 batteries, right? The one you replaced powers the radio, headlights, etc ...... just like a regular car. So, when you change the battery in a Chev Impala do you think will it improve the mileage???? The battery that provides power to the electric drive motor for a Maverick Hybrid is under the floorboards. This is a "Keystone Cop" video of a couple of bumbling would be mechanics replacing the wrong battery. BTW- Since you obviously don't know what you don't know, don't mess with the REAL hi-power battery under the floorboard.....disaster awaits; and you won't be buying that battery at your local car parts house.

Ive tested all modes in same temp and wind, and eco did best on mpg because its in electric mode a greater percentage of time. My display for the mpg reading is consistently 4 mpg higher than the real mpg when you divide miles driven by number of gallons used. And thats true for all modes. It reads 44 almost all the time but the math comes out to 40 mpg And there is also a crazy range plus minus almost 2 gallons when you fill up depending on what pump you use and how sensitive the shut off is. It can also get an air pocket so you think its full because gas is overflowing from the top but it can actually hold almost another 2 gal. Not doubting anything. Just observations with my 2022 mav hybrid. I need to retest to confirm the results have which is sport mode being worst on mpg because of that I havent used that mode very much. But because of your video I will definitely give it another go. I consistently get 2 mpg better with eco mode with all variables being the same. which is tough with hills and weather changes.

thank you Rene for video. Appreciate your time. I got my maverick hybrid 11/23. I checked my volts in morning before driving for 3 days, averaging 12volts. Got one warning saying "battery power low". the truck is stock, no added power electronics that could drain it. I've heard that the trim has to be removed to get at battery easier. After removing the trim did the battery just drop into the compartment easy. I been told on forum there are metal tabs under battery that sometime got to be bend down in order to fit the battery. Did you? If your fit easily, then I would love to know the name of the battery you got so I can be ready if and when I need a battery.

Think it’s time for some new toys or treat toys maybe …
