On Wednesday around 01:30, I woke to a slight flapping sound and the movement of air. I immediately thought BAT and pulled the light cover over my head and listened for a while until I fell back to sleep. I live in Vancouver close to the Granville Bridge on the south side of the city's downtown area, on the 5th floor, and my window was open as far as it would go, which is only about 5 inches and it opens by the bottom half swinging out that 5 inch length. I can barely fit my hand and arm out. This is to give you an idea of how unlikely it is for something to get in. I got up Thursday morning, at four am, which is my usual time for getting up, and when I got out of bed, I noticed some small scratches on my right thigh and the night's fright came back to me. I didn't dream it, I know that I woke up, and I couldn't think of anything I might have done to get the scratches. I tried to figure it out but nothing was coming to me, so I continued with my day. It was a busy one because my brother had just arrived from Ontario. Before meeting him though, I saw something on the wall that alarmed me. I couldn't identify it but I took a few pictures of it and it was small so I used the macro lens on my phone to capture the closest and clearest shot that I could and then I secured the object into a small medicine vial. I thought it might be some bat guano. I plan to have someone take a look at it because it could also be a squished centipede from a plant I bought a couple of months ago which has a few little ones in the soil. I was removing some and maybe this was one coming out after me for revenge! But it's weird that it got squished, if that's what it was. It was on the wall beside my bed, but I just don't touch that area of wall with my knee, or arm or foot. So that's why I'm not sure exactly what it is. So now I have 3 signs that seem to point to a bat in my room, that may have scratched me or even bitten me ( one doesn't always have the fortune of feeling a bat bite). The sound of approaching flapping and I felt the movement of air, the scratches which, though present are superficial and oddly even looking as though I sustained them from leaning a drawer on my thigh, if I had taken it out and it scratched me, hence the almost even appearance, and the possible (???) guano which I can now take with me. AND, as if I need another "sign", your video and one from yesterday popping up on my feed about... ...RABIES!!! My greatest fear! I have intended to call 811 for the B.C. Nurse line, whereby one can ask for advice before going to Emergency. What do you think I should do? My instinct is completely fooled by this because the chances of any one of these signs is so low, but I want to protect myself because I know that once symptoms of rabies appear, it's too late to do anything. If, IF there's a doctor here who can administer the Milwaukee Protocol, I might have a chance if I don't get a rabies shot and start to develope symptoms, but under 5 people have survived this last measure, as far as I know of today. And, of course, it's now early Saturday night, the very worst time to be in ER., so I would rather wait until Monday or Tuesday. I wonder how much time I can afford to wait. I WILL call 811, but since I saw your video, I thought I'd ask what you think. I love your video. I also love your comfortable and easy approach and I wish you were here, or I there because I think we would have lots to talk about. Sorry I'm writing as most people are getting their dinner ready. Hi Angie, I know exactly how you feel. There are times that I think I have fully forgiven someone only to recall the hurt years later. One if the ways that I think helps me to move past the hurt is to not only forgive, but to actually start blessing them. So I ask the Lord to help me fully forgive them, but to also bless them and their loved ones, pray for them to be healed as well and be filled with grace. This helps me to redirect my feelings about them. It does take time, but ultimately, they were motivated to do what they did from whoever hurt them or a dark spirit that influenced them. As you mentioned the Lords prayer is an excellent template. Have a good day and I am glad you are feeling better.

I agree with you we will go through the fire in order to be refined. Many christians in my opinion think they are ready to stand before Christ and be welcomed into heaven, but few will as Jesus states multiple times in the Gospels. It is important to examine ourselves as well as being tested so our faith and endurance increase. Although I am not looking forward to the times ahead, I do see how it can benefit His children. So I prepare and brace myself and try to be flexible and keep my expectations grounded.
