Просмотров 14521 день назад
I am back with a second video showing the next steps from my previous video on how to ferment peppers to make sauce (hot sauce or in this case... I suppose pepper sauce) They have fermented for over 2 months and now I will finish off the sauces and bottle them up for use. If you want to check out the first video here is the link. Let’s Bake… Sourdough Bread (Just a Beginner)
Просмотров 258Месяц назад
We are in the kitchen baking up a loaf of sourdough bread. Bonus, I baked a second loaf where I added cubed cheddar cheese. Here is the recipe I used Ingredients: 100 g of starter 350 g of warm water 500 g of bread flour 10 g salt Instructions: 1. Combine all ingredients until no dry flour and only “shaggy” dough remains. Let rest covered for 30 minutes 2. Perform 4 rounds of stretch and fold o...
Overwintering Peppers

I most certainly pushed the TIMING on this! My average first frost date was October 18, however, we have gone well into November this year. I waited until the last night possible to get these out of the ground. I left the remaining plants in place and will just chop & drop for the remainder once they begin to die back even more. #growyourownfood #7b #northcarolina #gardening You can find some o...

Gerat💖
bring on the chutney!!!
Loving it!!!
I'm just a beginner, and I realize what I need most, is to learn patience 😊
Patience and practice. Mistakes can still make great tasting bread
Great video
Do you have a video on making this bread. I would love to see it
Not yet! But ask and you shall receive. I am making another soon so I will film and post it
Should I still put the peppers under a grow light in my garage during winter or will they be fine without?
They will be fine if the garage does not remain completely dark. If it stays dark then about 2 hours a day will work. The idea is for them to remain dormant
@ALJenGardens thank you!!
B R E A D 🎉
Took some patience!!! LOL

Garlic! 💪🏽💜
Full of it
Love your realistic approach to how to do this. You are beautiful girl! You may want to comment on why you leave the flowers with it. May you be blessed and that God will multiply your harvest.
Thank you so much!!! The flowers remains so that I can harvest the seed pods as well as keep the beneficial insects in the garden. Hmmmmm, may have to do a video on that one
cant wait to see when theyre all done! gotta have a taste test
Absolutely!!! I am excited. Got about another week to go

Nice Video KayBee
Let's go! 💪
Nice fruit trees 😊
Thank you
It's time for a visit! 😔
🙌
💪💜
If you pull the scapes now and wait until all leaves at the bottom are brown you’ll have a bigger bulb if you wait, you’re allowing the bulbs to receive what energy was going to the scapes. that’s what I’ve been told from several. The scapes can be used just as you would use garlic, or some make pesto with them.
Oh I see now you did 😊
I sure did… used some in a stir fry and froze some to use later. Thank you for looking out for me!!! I’ll take all the help
Oregano can be a garden bully, if you let her grow as she pleases. The strawberry plants look so good. I'm going to try the grits for the ants.
It lost certainly can & is!!! I am finding this out now! LOL
Just found your channel and subscribed. You have a nice garden area with lots of space and options.
Thank you so much!!!!

Hello Beautiful, your skin is lovely Queen 🤎. Thank you for sharing 🤗
Greetings new viewer and sub. Love this vid alot of good Info. Makes sense the more sprouts on a potato the smaller growth would be,nvr thought about it 💡 Newish gardener first yr I'm doing more than sample gardening, if that makes sense. 😊🌱 Good job 💐
That makes great sense. Best to you and your garden
So glad you explained about the pots. I was just tussling in my mind trying to figure out how that worked in such a large bed. Also, it reminded me of that little bear you put in brown sugar. Can you provide a link or store to where to find these types of pots proven to work in these large beds?
You can find these specifically in my storefront on Amazon if you are interested www.amazon.com/shop/gardenerkaybee?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_aipsfgardenerkaybee_H9WV70S34WHBDG2VNQT8
Hey Queen. Thank you for this video. I pray my strawberries 🍓 produce. First time growing them.
Blessings on you growing!!!
Your seed starts look so healthy and strong!
Thank you!!
Great usage building up underneath with all you used.. at the beginning of this video I was wondering how much soil it was gonna take. You just showed me an awesome way to build it up with compostable things. I look forward to seeing your new videos. Now I want to see if you have a link for this raised bed, the ones I have are wooden and I think after this year, I may need to retire one of them. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us. Blessings from TN.
I started with wood myself and have a mixture of both now. I caught these beds on sale end of the season last year and just put the together. The height can make em a lil pricey. I do have some in my Amazon link. Thanks for joining me in the garden.
I looked at them on your Amazon, I added it on my “wish list”. I’m not getting it now. may look in to one late Summer. right now we’re planning out our garden bed, finally got it tilled up. Will put plants in the ground around the 20th Lord Willing…I am really enjoying my GreenStalk though.
Your seedlings look healthy. Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks for sharing this video. I really enjoy using those raise beds. Happy gardening
Saves on the back! Thank you
Love your gardening space and layout. I have moles also. They are constantly making tunnels everywhere. Thanks for sharing. Happy Gardening!
Thank you so much! Gotta do what we can
You are giving me real attainable goals. Good job Lady. Be blessed.
You can do it!
Hello. I’m excited about your channel. What zone are you in?
I am in Zone 7B
I just got my GreenStalk in Thursday, finally got it filled up with soil. Mine is half leaf (7 inch tall pocket)and half original(10 inch pockets). I could not find pro mix anywhere around me. I went with Fox Farms. But I’m stumped on which to stack at the top portion. I did get the cover for the waterer, we have a lot of wind, and it’s going to collect debris if I didn’t have it.
I am going with the lighter smaller veggies & flowers towards the top
@ALJennGardens I’m for sure doing strawberries on the top 2 pockets. I’ve had those plants for 2 weeks. My husband and I are getting everything planted in it tomorrow. I am going to plant some bush beans in the bottom, I’ve got the plant supports if needed. Happy Greenstalking!😊💚🍓🥬🥕🌻🌞🎋🌱🥰
I've learned so much just watching 2 of your videos .. I just found your channel today .. Your wealth of knowledge and experience is showing and it is appreciated!
Thank you so much
