Riding the Beavers trail at Arapahoe Basin. Lots of rocks, flow and some climbing. The climb to get to the start is brutal but it's worth it for the view. I'm a fan of this trail. Enjoy

If there's a bad trail at Buffalo Creek I haven't found it. Taking a ride down Shinglemill trail after climbing Nice Kitty. A good cruiser with enough loose sand to keep you on your toes. No bad days a Buff Creek. Enjoy

Great video! I'm looking forward to trying this one out. Are you riding up the North Argentine Trail or the access road?
You take North Argentine to get to Wheels up. If you want to do the Beavers trails you have to go up the road. They were building a climbing trail up top but I'm not sure if it's done yet.
@@briangillan6946 very cool. How is that North Argentine trail? Do you recall how long it takes? Fairly steep?
@@Behine.DeChilis Nah. It's about 2 miles. There's nothing crazy on it, it's just a steady climb. It's worth it for the views there.

I'm not sure. I'm not the slowest one on the mountain but I'm definitely not the fastest either.

There is no snow on the trail and no mud from the snow.

Which trail? Supposedly Peak 7 is all blues and blacks but that looks pretty easy.
Not sure of the names but these are all blues. Most of the trails there are cruisers and rolling terrain. Nothing crazy but still fun

The last time I skied the back bowls of Vail it was wall to wall moguls the size of Volkswagen Beetles. I have never seen the back bowls groomed like that. It's been a few years since I have been to Vail because I moved away, so not sure this is a new thing Vail is doing. The back bowl moguls were the only reason I used to go to Vail. They used to keep it all natural.
I would have given this a thumbs down, due to lack of falls, however...the birds won and the cowboys loss. Thumbs up
Finally, someone that rides realistically, Ill never be as good as most of the vids I see from up there!

Nice! How do you like those Elan Ripsticks by the way? They seem pretty versatile. Can you carve pretty decently in them for being 96 underfoot?
I love them. They're a great all mountain ski. Anything deeper then shin deep and you'll start to sink but they're perfect for days like this.

how do you like the ripsticks? I was going to go with the ripstick 88, but I ended going with the elan wingman 86. They both were on sale. Wont get to try them until next season
I love them. These are 96. It's a good all mountain ski. There's definitely too many choices out there. Hard to pick one
Peak 6 has some of the best cruisers!

This looks awesome! How challenging are these runs? Are they crazy steep? A lot of obstacles?
Vail is not a very hard mountain. You can find some good runs that are steep but places like Telluride and Jackson Hole will eat it's lunch if you like steep. That said, Vail is still my favorite hill. It's massive, fun runs, restaurant at the top- 11,000 feet up is really cool and the town is fancy but still fun. Just go!
