Ick bün groot woorn met plattdütsch in Meckelbörg (Mecklenburg) . Ick hew dat liernt von min Grotöllern; de hem dat se ehr Levn lang sproken. Nu bün ick de laatste or een von de laatsten, weker dat noch künn. Wenn ji dat verston hewwt, künnt ji mi jo mol een Antwurt hinnerloten. Veele Gröt van Meckelbörg- Vorpommern in Dütschland.

Ik bin een Hesse, min Vadda war Hesse und sin Vadda ouch... Also wenn man unsere Dialekte nimmt, sind die dem Althochdeutsch noch deutlich näher :)

As a german native speaker, I have always been interested in the old historical languages, but I struggled to find enough resources to practice. So I find it extremely helpful, that you are creating new content using the old languages. Sometimes it is funny to see how many expressions in today's german dialects can be recognized in those ancient languages. This seems like linguistic archaeology to me and is really interesting and great fun! May we never stop to explore the past to find the wisdom to create a better future ❤

West of Bavaria. North of Italy. It is a rather large area in the Southwest of Germany and includes Western Switzerland. The Black Forest is situated in Alimannia.
