This doesn't work... When I open Deploy-application.exe on my local pc it works perfectly, but as soon as I deploy it in intune as Win32app nothing happens in company portal.

@DeanEllerbyMVP this is a good video but at the same time Microsoft doesn't give you an idea how to properly setup Intune AV for MDE devices such as servers. So right now my servers are 2 weeks behind in backups because the AV is blocking Active Backup for Business on my my Hyper-V hosts and I don't see a direct way of disabling AV...

Hey Dean, have you experienced iOS devices that were enrolled using web enrollment, not being able to "remove passcode" in the Intune portal? It is grayed out. If you enroll the same device with the Company Portal app itself, it is available.

Great videos btw have been following for a long while now and have alwasy found them useful. I was wondering though if there was a way to enroll an iOS device into the company fully instead of using the apply configurator? I have a few older iPads I need to enroll but the configurator doesn't always seem to work.

Enrolling personal Android devices into Intune is the only way to use the work profile feature isn't it? I think it's OK to enrol personal ios and android devices as long as its done correctly. Account driven user enrollment (json host) seems to work really well for ios

I downloaded the same file. Have you tried that specific download? I'm experiencing issues with the clients accepting the DHCPOFFER, which results in them being assigned APIPA addresses. I have attempted to disable the firewall and used IPCONFIG /RELEASE and IPCONFIG /RENEW. I also checked the DHCP server but didn't have any success. Do you have any recommendations?

I haven't tried this yet, but I'm curious-if you proceed with deploying any of these imported GPOs, will it create a new custom configuration with an OMA-URI based on the CSP Mapping? Is there a way to check for conflicts, both before or after deployment, not only in the Security Baselines but also in other configuration profiles that might already have a specific CSP mapping set?

Just a heads up to anyone following this, V4 of the App Deploy Toolkit changed a couple of things, namely the exe/ps1 is now called Invoke-AppDeployToolkit and instead of Deploy-Application and Execute-Process is now Start-ADTProcess

The pricing plan is slick because packaging is less about number of devices and more about what features you want to use in larger orgs.

No apologise is needed it... thr content is gold, and that is what matters.

Also, the Atem's mic inputs are unbalanced so you'll need to convert that from a balanced signal that your audio interface is most likely producing to an unbalanced output. Not sure what interface you are using so can't speak to this for sure. That appears to be a MV7x microphone which is a dynamic microphone. That type of microphone works best if you get it as close to the sound source as possible--in this case, your mouth. Once you do that you, you can lower the gain to compensate for the increased volume of your voice and get rid of the extra room noise or "hiss" that is common in these scenarios. I know it may not look great on camera but those are trade-offs that have to be made as a content creator.

I don’t have a use case for it either. Old Autopilot binds the computer to the tenant which we want! And by just a hardware hash. New autopilot either does not bind the computer to the tenant by default but instead let anyone run through the scenario on any device. If you want to bind the device it’s harder than before. Yes. You could just take any device and log in and go through the setup but there is the option to transform the device to autopilot binding it for subsequent reinstalls and to prevent logging in to a Microsoft account or another tenant. The new version seem to have a better end user behaviour and progress bar. Why not just bring that into the old autopilot?

My brain doesn't work that way normally and that's why a bunch of our CA policies are probably not doing what I think they're doing... For your example though, how would you do it like "If it's not a PAW, block, but if it IS a PAW then let them in but require MFA"?

If you don't have a feature that actively saves clipboard strokes (other than the built-in clipboard), then i've found that you cannot paste a password into a UAC window on Windows 11. The amount of time i've had to write it down and type it in is frustrating. When the UAC windows pops up everything else on the screen loses focus so you can't even have the password showing on a notepad for example next to the UAC window. Hope that makes sense and that something else has the same frustrations ?
