I love this theory and I feel like it explains a lot, but what about the reaction we get from springtrap when he sees Henry's picture?? Is the envy also "stuck" inside the suit? Does the animatronic have some sort of paternal instinct or at least enough inteligente to know to pretend to have one? Idk, but I really do feel like HE isn't inside the suit, so I choose to believe you haha
I mean, if the suit is keeping him alive, is that why in the 4th closet once William has separated himself from the suit, he dies for good?
I really like this theory. Or at least as a starting point to explore possibilities. Always keep the theorizing fresh.
Finally got around to uploading a new video. Sorry it seems so rushed. Hope you enjoy!!
I saw this video a while back when it was released and the fact I don't see more people talking about it is criminal. I really love this take!
What if the monster he unwillingly made was the mimic all along
I'm actually so impressed at how fresh of a take this is - and how much it seems to fit. I'm a staunch believer in FNAF 3 and Pizza Sim not taking place in 2023, but just saying the 223 code is random (even though 223 is not how anybody would abbreviate a date) always felt like a cop out. This video finally explains this random three numbers in such a satisfying way I'm 100% convinced it was intentional. If the quote were on page 222 or 224 or something I'd wave it as coincidence, but the fact the page is spot on about Henry and the perception of him by others feels to good to be random happenstance.
Great vid :D
That was legit a really cool theory. Loved it 👍
This is really clever, using page numbers nowadays is something we should all expect as fbaf gets more and more intertwined with subjects from the book’s continuity.
charlie's death could have been retalliation in some way for henry dissobeying william in some way. just a random thought i had
@@scorcher69 oooh that actually sounds super interesting 🧐
The first 30 seconds of this video got me to subscribe. This kind of character study is exactly the kind of thing the fnaf community could use. Thank you for this, banger vid.
I love this take on Henry a lot. Really helps us understand him better than ever before and the theory is very well made and constructed which makes it all of more better! New sub :D
I like your theory and it definitely gives a lot of stuff to think about. I enjoy how it wasn’t just saying “Henry is old man consequences” or whatever it was more about Henry as a person. Definitely a good one, keep it up!
luna is the goat
With all seriousness, I LOVE THE VIDEO; and I really want to see more character development with Henry, William, etc. It would be wholesome to get more characterization on the video games and build a better narrative for both old and new storylines. Tbf, I kinda depict Henry as the man who accidentally created the monster (William) and now couldn’t do anything to stop him, he is a killing machine- and it’s a narrative parallel to the Mimic’s character arc. But later on, Henry gets Michael to stop all of William’s actions and malice. Though, the Caesar quote makes me think that it’s more of William’s body is put to rest, thus his malice lives on within the Mimic, and now gives the birth of Nightmarionne. And hence Mimic was in a Music box in the teaser, that might explain why Nightmarionne is still around in the Steel Wool games. It’ll be that if Henry made the Security program with MXES machine and into the Security Puppet, he might’ve used Mimic’s AI to clone one. So, Nightmarionne is more of the Grim Reaper who follows the ongoing agony that was born alongside with Fazbear Entertainment and the Mimic. One of Nightmarionne’s quotes actually line up with the Caesar quote, here it is: “I am the fearful reflection of what you have created” Honestly, this would be an amazing plot twist for a good game. And it’ll (at least) solve some questions from past games. Tbf, I don’t mind Edwin appearing in the games, but if there was an alternative, I think Willy would create the Mimic as a way to overcome Henry’s robotic skills. Anyways, I love the video ngl; hope to see more ❤
This makes so much sense! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It also doubles as a way to circle back to adjust the timeline, if it isn't stating the game takes place in 2023. Scott isn't above a red herring (see also: purple Michael).
Using the 223 as a page number is a really clever ideal. And with the survival log book was bing worked on at the same time. The ideal of book puzzles would be on Scott's mind. My original ideal was the 223 was the date Henry started his planes fir the fnaf 6 pizzeria. Being the Feb 23 2016 after fnaf 3 Halloween of 2015. Fnaf 6 takes place around the fall if I remember and we can assume a horror attraction like fazzbear frights would open around Halloween. But after watching your vid I think the page number theory works better
@@noravanguard oooh, I like the idea of it being a date though. It could have been a really interesting way to set out a timeline of events!
This I my first time seeing your channel but this is one of the best theories I’ve seen in a while and this video definitely deserves more attention!! You just earned a new subscriber :3
@@Strawbstars thank you!!
I love this take. It delves deeper into the father-daughter relationship as well as a depth to henry we missed.
@@alysonberryhill4773 thank you! I love learning more about characters so I’m glad this gave you that depth
I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH I ALWAYS HATED HOW MODERN FNAF RETCONNED STUFF, THIS INTERPRETATION MAKES EVERYTHING SO MUCH BETTER
Should you not have gone entirely with the newest edition since presumably it was updated for a reason, such as to fix mistakes??
Super cool!
Im sure its been mentioned, but Scott said the red marks were from previous characters who existed in earlier versions of TFF.
Solely agree with you on here. I do think that in-universe the Freddy Files are info from the Police Department that was used to investigate on the Indie Dev’s work of the FNAF games and the books because in HW1, the Indie Dev was under lawsuit with Fazbear Entertainment LLC. So I think that the Freddy Files development over time as a way to investigate more on what the games are about and this could explain why some things in the Freddy Files have “errors” or wrong facts- because they might be misleading the police to see what’s the truth behind Fazbear Entertainment. This might imply Fazbear created in-universe Fazbear Frights books aka FrightsFiction. And I just think the red ink could be Vanessa. But I think the Freddy Files were put online and that could let Glitchtrap learn more about the FNAF lore since he started mimicking the violence of the FNAF games. Overall, Amazing video
This is super interesting! Nice job!
I really like this theory! I will say Mike doesn't need to be a cop, per se. He could just be doing his own investigation *or* if he does have a more "official" title, he could have become a private investigator! Regardless, the security guard jobs could always be temporary things as a way to get close to the places he needs to be without raising suspicion + it would give him more access by default: he would have more access to the building(s), night shift means he can work uninterrupted (yk, barring the killer animatronics), et cetera.
My favourite thing about the freddy files is how the second edition misspelled Golden Freddy as "Godlen Freddy" in the UCN section
9:44 I actually have a video in the works explaining the meaning behind the indiegames and what they mean regarding the lore since obviously the old lore is still very much canon. Interesting video by the way, a great start to your channel
What about if there is a parallel in the way the movie MCI and book MCI needed their memory jogged by the drawings, and how the game MCI need their memory jogged by the games. But is it Michael doing it?
I love this! It being in-universe makes so much sense!
I think its a great theory, I think its something that nobody really thought of. Have a good day, and passion makes things possible so keep of going :)
i love that someone's taking a crack at this. i do think that this could use a bit of workshopping, but overall I really enjoy your theory. i really think you're onto something. i love seeing new FNAF people pop up in my recommended. i look forward to seeing what you put out next :)) also fnaf 3 in 2015 truther hell yeah
HELL NAW ON CHARLIE1 BUT HELL YES ON 2015 GIRL 😎
Nice video !!
Loved your theory and i'll add my two cents to it too. To me me there are two distinct tones in the freddy files. The first one is "informative" and the second one is "investigative" you described this as a missdirection, but i propose this is the "discovery" process of an ongoing trial. During discovery both parties have, in good faith, to share information relevant with the case. The way Fazbear present stuff like power usage or the way animatronics move could be construed as "see, it was safe, there was a guide and a lot of power left" Fazbear misdirection i believe have always been the fright series which share a common theme "body snatching/mind transference" most of the stories follow this trend which in the end seems like the truth seeping through. To me Mike is going around the fnaf universe as a whistleblower. Getting his hands in these kind of materials and creating leaks to tell the truth about Fazbear entertainment to the public
Great theory but please put more things on screen! As I actually watch videos and I don’t just listen to them in the background.
Thanks for pointing all of these things out! People often close to the very idea of the Freddy Files just because it's inconsistent, but that seems to be... exactly the intent. I never really took the time to stop and pay closer attention to the book. This is a truly amazing theory.
Awesome vid, welcome to the cast of hellbent completely drained FNAF theorists 😭 do you have any socials??
I think you did really good four your first fnaf theory video, I think you have found a way to connect the freddy files to the rest of the series by connecting some of it to Michael Afton, I think that's really cool. I would like to see more from you in the future.🤔❤❤❤❤❤😊
amazing first vid !!! love seeing more unique and interesting perspectives <3333
very good job and also a very good video - theory , can't wait for more of your vids!
14:28 well, that Roblox game survival crew DID have a skin called “Michael Afton police uniform” so you could be onto something. I doubt the book is like, real though. But I can definitely see the red pen being Mike’s note in a meta sense
I'm going to come back to this when i'm done but I got my fingies crossed you figured out that graph XD
Okie, so i'm wondering. Do we think FNAF World is the reflection to the audience of what Mike, or the team collecting these files, is going through to put together as much true lore as possible. And if it is, could that be why the "Chica's Magic Rainbow" 8-bit ending in FNAF WORLD implies we meet Henry at the end of the game, in what might be a "Sit-down interview" we don't see but then goes horribly wrong. Amazing Video by the way!!

This makes a lot of sense, got me pretty convinced!
It also explains how obvious Michael's disappearance from the book is. It's so noticeable that it's one of the reasons people discredit it. But of course he wouldn't be there if _he_ helped compile the book. Although, i don't get how this would align with his motivation of helping his father. If we put SL before FNAF 2 and his motivation is saving the souls, it would make sense how he'd have access to the files back then. But if he got scooped _after_ FNAF 1, then i think _that's_ when he got access to the investigation, somehow. Not before. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting you on that front. Either way, i think that's a compelling theory! And would give him something to do in the time between SL (or fnaf 1) and FNAF 3.
This is overall solid imo. Micheal is definitely part of the investigation but the minigames are not made by the developer as the books explain to us that the developer made the first 3 games and part of the 4th. With the minigames telling the true story behind the scenes as FNAF World is between the games and whatever happen in it effects the games and since the Puppet is the one behind FNAF World to help the main 4 spirits rest in happiest day that shows that the minigames are the spirits reaching us through the games calling for help to let them rest.
Great video, keep it up!
Solid video. I didnt have a point where I said "thats 100% wrong". And really opened up my thoughts on how we see those side books
