There was only on of the mis marble I liked she only maind a view , I don't no why ,maybe she patst away, she had her hair up in a bun, she had such a soft charming vice , soft talking , she was the best on of mis marble I felt , wish I new her name ❤😊
Completely believable casting! (for once! 🙄😒) - Real Actresses and Actors! (No shoe- horned in, embarrassing, 'Woke or Star Turns'. BBC are shamful now! They try to destroy the most amazing, World class, important, vibrant and popular, all over the World, Literature. Books and stories that enthrall and give enjoyment, standards and hope to people all over the World! Dickens, Brontes, Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Kenneth Grahame (Wind In The Willows).

They left out a whole segment of this story. What happened to Beatrice? She wanted to speak with Partridge. Then she was found dead in the coal cellar in the basement. What had happened? Well she had seen Symington return home to deliver that poison pen letter to his wife, and then pretend that he was at work all day. But Beatrice saw him from the Symington house window upstairs. This bothered her and she wanted to speak to Partridge about it. The death of Beatrice is missing from the story. That whole segment was cut out. Unbelievable!
Miss Marple explained at the end that Beatrice saw NOTHING. No postman came by, nobody else stoped by the house. So, slowly she started wondering How the anonymous letter got to the house. So Mr. Simmington didn’t want her talking about it and raising questions. I hope it helps.
Joan Hickson is the perfect Miss Marple. Geraldine McEwan was miscast in the role, and was not the right type to play Miss Marple. Also, the Joan Hickson episodes stayed close to the original stories. The Geraldine McEwan episodes took Agatha Christie's stories and rewrote them into unrecognizable and ridiculous junk.
Noone can play Jane Marple better than Joan Hickson! Geraldine McEwan's rendition wasn't too bad , but Julie McKenzie's interpretation.....Dreadful!!! Plus the episodes with J.M. are awful in themselves, with storylines changed, timelines modernised, that sort of thing. Nope. Give me Joan Hickson any day!!!

The end brings shivers all over my body. I shed a few tears but I laughed a lot. A real gem with fantastic actors.
