Hi Top-Jimmy, you are absolutely correct, running any RC on grass period will make any electronics overheat (thermal shutdown/potentially fire). I make the best of what I have, so looking for a esc and motor that can handle where I run and adding additional ventilation and fans (one or two) will help me enjoy running my RCs all year. Hello Gillian, I really love the Hyper TT2.0 it's a tough and fast little truggy. I don't have anything to complain about as far as how it handles. The motor mount is a different issue, but once you have the gearing you want then no issues.

It is always a blast to have you over, to just let the RC rip and just have fun. The Groms and the other 14th scale RC get a lot of track time when the family come over, (6 racing) total chaos 🤣😵😯😯. Hey Weiss, I have considered adding in a jump or two and maybe a serpentine on the track. I need to lengthen the two straight and clear out some of the brush near the drivers stand. that will have to wait until I clear out the brush (before spring)

Hi John, This RC is nose heavy even with the battery tray pushed to the back but I seemed to manage it off the hill. No the wheel came off on it's own🤣🤣🤣, had to run to the house to find another wheel nut so I could continue on with the bashing. It's time for the a new body and paint scheme for the big rock, not sure what color but it will be different then what I currently have in my collection (next year) Thanks for watching and for the awesome comment as you normally provide my friend. Hey Fonzie, yes they are, even with the battery tray pushed back it's still a little nose heavy. You picked up a Outcast 8s (RTR 2024?) good for you, I know you have a couple of 5th scales in your collection. The 8s Outcast is a tough big 5th scale truck for normal bashing (anything higher then 10/15ft) then upgrade may be necessary. Thanks for watching and for the great comment. Hey John, I was really sweating it when the Model DT passed me on the first run ( I knew it was fast) but 99 mph did not expect that at all, from that point I was really nervous and was hoping I didn't crash ☹☹. The split in the body is fixable with drywall tape and e6000, drive shaft already replaced. may take it out next weekend and see if I can get that 100 mph, if not then I am fine with that. Now the 25 mph sign is just a suggestion 🤫🤫🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Take care and best wishes to you and the family my friend.

Hi RallyandTrail, I was not expecting to hit 104 mph looking at 95, 98 and would have been happy with that. Now the FSR Model DT, my fear was when I walked up on it, major damage (body split in half, chassis bent, diff covers cracked, etc) I was relieved that only that split and the rear drive shaft missing. HI John, yes Team Corally designed a awesome 7th scale buggy and I wish there were others out there who did the same, would like to get another to run with this one. it is almost as heavy as the Arrma FireTeam so it does need good electronics. That is coming and I am sure it will run more than 5 min without going into thermal shutdown. Take care and best wishes to you and the family my friend.

I can't get upset with the vehicle, it sits low to the ground and the metal chassis rubbing on the grass and not a lot of airflow through it. It's bound to get hot. I know the Pro Line Trenchers are heavy for it but it did the same with the original tires, but much worse (really low to the ground). I think the HW Max6 will be able to handle this, since I have it in both the FireTeam and the Big Rock 6s and they are a lot heavier than the TC Asuga. It will be good soon, new esc and motor and a new body shell and paint. Then I will see if it will last longer than 5 min 🤞🤞🤞

I can't comment on the stock Asuga, but like any other RC once you start putting on lager tires and lager pinion gear then things tend to heat up. I expect that and it's no fault to the RC just me. Once I get the right esc and motor it should run cooler and smoother. Right now I am running a 19t pinion with its original spur, and the 2250kV motor the spur gear is a little high for that motor. But on the upgrade I am going to change it to a 16t/17t pinion and stock spur and see how that goes. Thanks for watching and for the question/comment. Hi Michaelhimsworth, it is cooling off here in the US, I am pushing this with these electronics (2 year old Firma 160 amp esc) with the 2250kV motor. I did expect some heating but not to the point where I only get 5 min or less of run time. I am going to change out the esc and motor as well as drop the pinion gear down a couple of teeth 16t or 17t. That should help me get more run time (10-15 min). @@michaelhimsworth6512 my grass is a little bit to tall and the chassis will absorb the heat from the friction and transfer it to the motor and esc, that's why the larger tires (10th scale) proline Trenchers, to give it a little more ground clearance.
