In this video, Marina Rodriguez Carreiro (Center for Biological Research - Margarita Salas) explains the methods used to optimise the current PHACOS production by using a genetically modified Pseudomonas putida strain. These bioprocesses improve productivity results by utilising the CO2 created during fermentation, thus allowing the processes to be more sustainable.

In this video, Dr Minmin Pan (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, UFZ) explains the methods used to harness highly productive microbial communities, such as hydrogen gas, lipids, and chemicals, for the clean production of sustainable products by adapting the automated DASGIP system. The DASGIP reactor regulates the microbial community conditions to increase production.

In this video, Fabián Moreno Avitia (National Center for Biotechnology, CNB CSIC) introduces the dual-chamber photobioreactor developed in the PROMICON project. This reactor supports the development of microbiome-based processes and reduces production costs by allowing the co-cultivation of two or more different microbial strains.

In this video, Juan López Gálvez (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, UFZ) introduces the online automated flow cytometry method developed in the PROMICON project. This method provides rapid, high-resolution data on bacterial community status, enabling precise monitoring of population dynamics essential for controlling biotechnological processes.
