I already have some other recordings that I may upload individually at some point. The infamous 'main' GE999 whistle as seen in the TV series opening is not one I have come upon its original source yet, but some other whistles used in the series I have high res recordings of. As said, may upload more as individual uploads (the full vinyls they are included on will be given priority), so you may see more in the future.

Thank you for your comment. The high quality album art was included with the download of this album that I obtained from the Lossless Touhou Project Music Collection Torrent. Thankfully, someone had scanned the outer and all the inner covers of the album.

I totally agree with you! It's one of my favourites from this series. And just as it gets going it cuts off, so frustrating! Nice to know I'm not the only one who feels that way. I would also love to buy the cd but it's very difficult to find. 😢

高校時代が懐かしい。昭和43年当時、奥羽本線神町駅から楯岡駅まで利用してました。神町は米軍基地 が有り、駅は米軍用のスマートな建物でした。昭和48年に港湾関係の会社に就職。未だ三島型の船舶が有り、荷役装置は蒸気ウインチでした。ウインチマンが運転前にドレイン抜きし、カラ運転するのを興味深く見て居たら、新人にベテランウインチマンが、ゴーへー(巻き上げ)スライキ(巻き下げ)とか、教えてくれたりが、蒸気機関に対する青春の思い出です。子供の頃から神町の線路側に住んでいましたが、D51,C56だけではない事を知り、大変興味深く見させてもらいました。ありがとうございました。
