I was on the show in 1976, and they picked the contestants by "Magic Arrows." The problem with that is that the arrows would often land on adults or babies, and they would have to keep spinning. That is probably why they changed to the "Bozoputer." It's probably not really a computer, as it looks like an analog display that someone is manually changing. They probably issue raffle tickets to the kids and draw tickets from a hat, then display whatever number they draw, and it's probably a computer like many other science fiction shows that had things that looked like computers.
This should be a required video for all congressmen and women to watch. Kids didnt understand what was going on with bozo because they were innocent and too young to understand ADULT SITUATIONS.
Like everyone else said...... I never remember Bozo being loaded either I grew up in northern Indiana, so Chicago wasn't that far away.....all the begging in the world never got them to get us tickets to a show!
4:30 The official "You Failed At Life" song.
Was Bozo drunk in this clip? He was slurring his words so badly here.

For some kids, Bozo talked just like their parents!

Watching this at 42 years old I'm actually disturbed that I loved this game as a kid
The person who posted this video is named Pam. Maybe I am late to the party but I wonder if it's the same Pam who is the "girl" in the show...
When boys and girls were known by their actual gender.

I always felt the bozo show would have been more effective if it had an adult theme to it, like Rocky and Bullwinkle.
To me this is how I grew up thinking clowns sounded like but I can see why people sounds like he dipped into the sauce.
This bozo didn't drink but the first one didn't
The Democratic socialist point of origin.
Born raise in the south side of (1962-1978)Chicago, Illinois, Cermak in Kedzie. Thanks for the memories.
Don’t know who’s more wasted bozo, or the bozoputer
Maybe I loved Bozo because he reminded me of my sainted mother.
Where are the arrows
What year was this???
Like everyone else said...... I never remember Bozo being loaded either I grew up in northern Indiana, so Chicago wasn't that far away.....all the begging in the world never got them to get us tickets to a show!
That other clown was pssed off at something. Slamming the Bozo clown doll to the ground wasn't subtle and Bozo was not happy with it.
