Their big mouths and behaviors on the court against Caitlin Clark were disgraceful and now look what is happening to the league !!!! It’s back in the toilet and it will remain there! It wasn’t popular in the first place then Caitlin sparked the interest and it exploded and people started coming out, ticket sales were huge and the WNBA treated her extra shitty and look what happened!!!! This is fixable. First, the WNBA leadership has to stop the attacks on Catlin Clark, both physically and verbally. Next, more and better training for the referees. The refs have to be better. And last the players need to embrace what Catlin brings to the league. They have to accept that she is a generational talent. When Larry Bird and Magic Johnson entered a struggling NBA, they were embraced, and the league got better, and the players got better. If the WNBA starts embracing Catlin, the league and the players will improve.

Two things: 1) Europe doesn't like the drama that comes with personalities like Wilson and Reese. Clarke is a zero drama personality. Good for her for capitalizing on her popularity and appeal while she can. That's just good business. 2) This is very similar to the original USFL and NFL competition. When the USFL started competing with NFL for 5-star draft candidates, and were offering higher contract values, it forced the NFL to re-evaluate salaries to remain competitive. Eventually the market equalized, and eventually the USFL crashed when it tried to compete with NFL in the Fall season, but NFL players continue to benefit from the compensation changes that occurred.

When you have a player that gets fans and new fans attention shouldn’t you celebrate that. That attention will get all players noticed it will good for all.
