Thank you. I spent yesterday afternoon working on getting the power steering pump out of a 06 F150 thinking that was to problem. Thank god for stopping me from getting it out yesterday. Now I got to put back together what I have a part. The shaft is rusty so now I can fix it easy. Thanks again.

The House on the Rock Inn has been sold in Fall 2021 to Radisson Hotels who is reopening it soon under the name "Prairie Rock Lodge". It sounds like Radisson at least inherited the submarine and nautical stuff in the pool area (built by the HOTR artists in the 90s as part of the Inn under the Attraction ownership). The Inn has yet to open under the "Prairie Rock Lodge" name but a sign by the old Inn (located on Hwy 23 in Dodgeville) mentions it "Coming Soon". It will probably officially reopen under the new ownership in Spring of 2022.

My mom has a 02 Kia Rio sedan and and 02 Kia Rio cinco and a Corolla and Avalon and there very low mileage she finds these car safer for me and her witch Iam 11 I love Kias but she had a 05 Ford Thunderbird it was a bad car broken down in 2009 before I turned one so my mom had to deal with no car for 2yrs then 2012 she got a Chevy metro love it it’s broken down after that she got the Rios then on the sedan model had 3three problems engine and transmission me and my moms neighbor fixed it good a enough then she got a 2000 Toyota Avalon xls in silver then 2yrs laters we got into a crash it’s still drivable the insaurance it wasn’t fixable but it’s drivable we still drive it around the block a few times haven’t had it fixed but if it still drivable then drive it around the block still needs love then after insaurance we got a 2010 Toyota Corolla le witch is nice well I would say the Avalon nicer so we’re planning to get a new house so we’re to get Avalon fixed and the geo running and then we’re gona lots more kias and Toyota’s and Hyundai’s and chevys and all kinds

I replaced my intermediate shaft yesterday and still did not fix my issue. Still has hard steering. Odd thing is before I replaced the shaft I used PB blaster on the u joints it was fine for a few days, my assumption was it was this exact problem. Now I am at a loss. Any ideas?

I don't have a pedestal, so it is harder, but I use a shop vac and crack the cap until water comes out and just suck it up with the shop vac, only takes a few minutes and not a drop spilled.

What does it mean when it makes a groaning sound at idle speed with it in gear and your steering the vehicle into say, a parking place or something?

When making a video of dark places at least have a flashlight handy.

It really isn't a Ford manufacturing problem, its happens with wear and tare on any vehicle , ford 150 maybe a little more of an issue ,but for 12 or 13 years. Not bad. My 2006 has the same simular issue not as bad. But an cheap easy DIY job... Liked the video though..Btw I paid $79.00 for mine wht 30 minutes labour saved at least $300.00 DIY

I know that this video is a few years old but I noticed that near the end of your video after you're done with your repair I saw your tach in the dash instrument cluster and I was wondering if your engine always idles at 1100 to 1200 rpm's ?..I have the exact same truck and mine has always idled at around 800 to 850 rpm's.....yours seems kinda high....

These vehicles had their oil drained, and their engines "red lined" with no oil in them. This was to seize up the engines so that the junkyards would accept these vehicles as clunkers, and crush them. With the engines still functional, the junkyards would just sell the vehicles to persons who would put them right back on the road. A better name for the program would have been "Trade In's For Gas Guzzlers". The objective was to promote the sale of more fuel efficient vehicles, and get gas guzzlers off the road to help cut down on pollution and greenhouse gasses.

Thanks for the video. The door was hard to open but I finally managed to get it loose using a nail and some rubber gloves for traction. I used a shop vac to suck up all the water as it was exiting. I found a quarter, a wire from a bra, 3 thick zip tie ends, and a plastic lollipop stick from who knows when. Just waiting to see if there are any leaks. I have had this washer for 10 years and this is the first time I've ever had a problem with it.

I did all that was explained on the video now water is leaking out of the trap door the gasket is good
