VOTE on ELECTION day! SOUTH AFRICA and 29 May 2024 needs you!
The 2024 national elections in South Africa is in my view the most important election the country has had to date. The South Africa government is dysfunctional and needs to be held to account by its citizenry. In this video I share my views on this election, while going to vote on the 18th of May in Berlin during my teaching in Germany.

Thanks, Prof - This really helps. I have just subscribed to your channel.
Damn! That was so damn good! Excuse my Swedish. My professor drove me crazy for months with gogo gaga gaha gibberish… Thank you!
Thank you for the comment. I am thrilled it has helped!
God Bless You Honorable Sir! I don't know where are you from, but you are Guiding Angel for me! I am from India. Can I ask a question to you? Can giving punishment, improve the performance of Loving and Honorable and Dear Students? Answer is in terms of YES or NO. PLEASE SIR!
I am sorry, I do not know what you are referring to?
@@profjohancoetzee4658 Thankyou Honorable Sir. I can't imagine, you will answer. My intention behind asking this question is that when students fail to give answer for any questions. In India, mostly teacher make them feel guilty and make them frustrated. Indian teacher treat and want, their students should smart and updated without making their own efforts. It's a dark reality. According to my own opinion, teacher should be like a loving and charming friend for their students. Teacher should stand with their students with same line. How you treat your loving honorable student? Please make a video on book "AB : The Autobiography by A b delivers". I have seen this book, your book shelf. God Bless You Sir! No one smile like you Smile. Why we call smile to SMILE? Because, it removes the distance from Heart. Mile is unit to measure distance, which is hidden in the word.
I've watched several videos on the topic so far, and this is the only one that has truly helped me to understand what I need to do. Thank you very much, Professor Coetzee.

Thank you so much, proff. This video is really very very helpful!
My absolute pleasure.
You people routinely publish papers generated by ChatGPT. You've lost all credibility, because you've all demonstrated yourselves to be corrupt and untrustworthy, just like politicians. You should never be trusted again. You've failed. You no longer hold any moral superiority, if you ever even held any at all. I'm glad to see it, it's been a long time coming.
Should have found you earlier. Thank you for such a clear message.
Thank you Jacqueline.
Thanks for sharing your Research proposal.
It is a pleasure Caroline.

Your video is so instructive and helpful. Thank you so much
You're very welcome! Glad it helped you.
Thank you Prof... I only have one question to this insightful lecture. so in the two highlighted parts in the problem statement there is no need to to reference? I am asking this because, phrases like "there is evidence" are used in the statement without any source acknowledged/ highlighted as it is the case in the background.
Super video Prof. Commenting from Panama during my first work trip to Central America. Super interesting time. Travelling alone is not fun, but I find that I learn so much about myself and forced to grow and develop through the experiences of being in contact with the local cultures and people. Off to Sint Maarten and St Kitts next. Happy travels! Ciao!
Thank you Jan. Yes, its always great having a partner and yes, you learn so much about yourself. Enjoy the travels!
Thanks Prof for such an informative talk. Never thought of "part two of the problem statement" that really makes everything a little more easier
I am glad it helps Nhlanhla.
Thank you Prof for this insightful video. Traveling to other countries its something I always had in mind as a young boy, but growing up in township made it seem impossible, but now that I am doing my final year in Economics at UWC the doors are opening and your video encouraged. And yes despite everything that is happening we must be proud of our beautiful nation, our problem is focusing on the negative side of things.
I agree Luvuyo. We have huge challenges. But, it all starts with us being the change we want to see. You will travel one day. Your past is not your destiny. Go towards it!!
Thank you Prof. for this clarification.
My pleasure Mthenjoase.
Thank you Professor this was extremely helpful
