Wrote a song for my dear friend Francine Bizar. Singing it here with my dear friend John Shartzer. Music & Lyrics by Douglas Ladnier with John Shartzer on Guitar and BG Vocals Heart of gold Even better She’ll fill you up If you let her With so much love Like you’ve never felt before A friend to all A mom to many Her open arms Give hugs a plenty So full of love Like you’ve never felt before City...
i'm a fool to want you

That dude can SANG, and he wasn't even trying.
My 10 yo self was crying to this on daily basis. My 28 yo self understands why.
BRAVO! Great performance! As you know, Alyce and I have 62 years of marital bliss (and counting), which is why Alyce is often known as Saint Alyce.
Lame rendition
Enjoyed your performance! Are your charts for sale by any chance or can you direct me to the arranger,... Many Thanks.
"Dooglas", doucement et FAB mon ami,
Really enjoyed this!!
What a great show! Send in the Clowns was brilliant. Loved watching both of your performances on the ship and listening to your stories.
Beautiful!
Awesome performance Doug. Wish I could have been there. ❤🎉😊
Why didn't they walk out to the prologue with the industrial sounds mixed into it?
Different interpretation by the director.
Who is still listening this masterpiece in 2023?
There is a brand new version coming very soon :-) stay tuned please :-)
@@moment2musiccool, I will be checking. ❤
@@moment2music we're waiting patiently! :D

Can You Make For Me Music?
yes
Nice Video
I used to think that Roger Whittaker did the best rendition of this song. I was wrong.
Wow. I never thought anyone could top Roger Whittaker's rendition of 'Send in the Clowns'.
My fav version of Sweeny Todd in a theater by farrr!! Amazing job B)
1:16:06 Epiphany
Dude, I remember me ripping off this song en 2007 to post it into myspace.
For some reason, the way he sung "home" gave my Colm Wilkinson Les Mis vibes :)
I absolutely adored this Toby. His emotions, his mannerisms... just perfect for what the character is supposed to be. An amazing bit of back and forth with the Beadle and Mrs. Lovett! That's something I feel I rarely see. The last look behind her as Mrs. Lovett left the stage at the show's end was FANTASTIC. Something I've never seen before and really liked. A wonderful show!!
So many moments that captured my heart I don't even know where to begin. Mrs. Lovett's little run at 17:45 was just such a lift to really bring more to the moment. Sweeny's 'conversation' with his razor during My Friends is hands down one of the best interpretations of the song I've ever heard. The really *deep* disturbing moment of the Judge self-flagellation and what happens from it - the first time I've ever really felt properly creeped out in every way possible during that song. The amazing trio of gentleman with lovely voices after Sweeny's first kill! That scream and laughter during Epiphany that truly sound like Sweeny losing his mind...! One of the best breaks from the character at the beginning into one that would be willing to trade puns with Mrs. Lovett.
The sets and lighting effects are out of this world! Thanks for posting this.
Any chance this would be performed again by this original band? As I understand it, you are the original singer.. so? :)
Excellent work.
You have a great voice! 💖
And the first one?
outstanding set design!
Voices are on point! Where was this?

Beautiful singing!!!
why did you stop writing Mr Ladnier, I can't begin to express in words the chords your songs struck in me.
thank you for your words. i haven't stopped writing i just don't have a current outlet for my music and lyrics . . . soon, i hope. i have many more songs and stories for the world to hear. thank you for listening and for your patience and encouragement. means the world to me. ; )
2019
I adore both songs . Your version here is fantastic.
Did you happen to record the whole thing!? I loved seeing this show and wanted to see it again but any other videos online are of the safe version which isn't as funny. I'd really appreciate a link to the full play if you have it!!!
Excellent.
This song is actually about the psychiatric patients that lived in Siberry's neighbourhood and the compassion she felt for their suffering.
Don't mess with a man who can sing (great voice) AND CAN HANDLE A PARROT PUPPET!...Great clip...
Great performance!
I still love this song after so many years!
Exquisite... full of heart, emotion, and a voice that soars like no other
My boyfriend committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. I used to sit near his grave, rest my head on his headstone and cry while listening to this song for hours. I wanted you to know, mister Ladnier, that there is this unimportant girl on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean whom to her, your song means a lot. I wish I could thank you personally with a hug, but because I can't I do it this way. Thank you, thank you so much.To me, it was the best medicine in the worst period of my life.
I don't even care that he is so good looking... signing like that I am just in love! looks are a just a plus.
No, you are incorrect. Aviatic has a nice cover of this song, but beat&path was the original.
Fake , This isn't the origine , The origine one is for aviatic
Thank you, very beautiful.
