The art exhibition was featured on the rear lawns of the opulent gilded age mansions of Newport, Rhode Island at Rough Point, The Breakers, and Salve Regina University’s McAuley Hall. The sculptures were created by The Coexistence Collective, a community of 200 indigenous artisans in the Nilgiri Hills of South India. The life-size sculptures are made from lantana camara, an invasive weed that encroaches on wildlife habitat and is reused for the sculptures, which will be touring the world over the coming months and years.
