We went this summer and purchased the 'Lyonesse Experience' passes, which covered everything. They were priced at £20 per adult and £15 per child.

Ah, no. I can't remember how much the car park was. Food was extra. The passes covered the 4D cinema, adventure golf, Aardman Experience and Greeb Farm.

Flying visit, then?

@@VolkswagenCamperAdventures yes it was. It was near the end of the day and we'd spent of it down at Mousehole. So it was an hour of hubby queueing (with a coffee in hand) for the signpost (whilst me and the boy went to the play area). 😁

If I had to choose between Land's End and Mousehole, I think Mousehole wins.

@@VolkswagenCamperAdventures yup, definitely! But you kind of have to do Lands End too! I think we'll have to do both on separate days next time, plus also the Minack theatre!

Thanks for the kind comment, Mike. The views are unbelievable up there. The next time we get snow, I'll try get up for the winter scene. It is a bit hilly, though, and I don't have my 4x4 anymore 😲

Thanks for the comment. When you're starting with a small space, it's important to keep as much of it has possible. You could argue that a full-size rock-n-roll bed and pods would be a better layout in that case, but who wants to stand outside, cooking breakfast in bad weather?

It isn't really a 'hack'. This is how Volkswagen programmed the reset sequence. There will most likely be something similar for Dethlleffs, but I'm unaware of it.

@@campervaners we head out here, there and everywhere as often as possible. Festival season is upon us, so we are looking at those at the minute.

Yep the turbine produces electricity for the stadium and there's solar panels on the roof of the Bede Stand (with the 'oldest rugby ground' sign). They've been up for a number years now. It's a great ground. Away fans always comment. The fans area/beer garden has concerts on through the year too.

Lovely spot for a picnic.

It's a lovely location. I've tried looking for confirmed 2023 opening times, but there doesn't seem to be any. The tower is owned by Kirklees Council. They used to open it on bank holidays, so you could climb the stairs inside, to the top. You can probably imagine that the views from there are breathtaking.
