I totally agree but I think many of us understand it logically but don't practice it. For example, I'd never hesitate to encourage someone to rest but I'm not always good about practicing what I preach/teach. I love that you have good self talk to remind yourself how important it is and how much better you do. I should try that next time.

@@PridemoreCoaching Yes, I would say the same for myself. I am still trying to understand why that happens. It happened this weekend. I decided to rest after asking myself what I needed and the immediate answer that came back to my head was rest. So I think I'll continue to approach it that way.

It's very much about making authentic connections and building relationships. I met someone the other day who was so used to other people asking for something when they networked that when I offered something instead, they were surprised. I think we've all been "trained" that networking is transactional - and it can be. But it doesn't have to be.

@@PridemoreCoaching Yeah I guess that is why I didn't like it either. I thought it was about doing it when you need something. But it's really about connection and giving as you said. And it feels so much better that way.
