i totally agree. the kpop community loves to judge but ignores progress. jihyo is my bias who made me like kpop and i was always annoyed by how people ignored her hard work and only noticed when she made a mistake. but she rarely made mistakes. and the fact that she mentioned ive as a group she likes means she understands the potential and that they can get over the hate because they work hard. wonyoung is definitely an idol who has already achieved success and will most likely surprise us in the future, she is so young.

I love Wonyoung and she works incredibly hard but let's not act like that is all that is needed to succeed and/or be good at something. The comparison you gave of her and Sunghoon is not really accurate. Sunghoon is also known as super hardworking but he is an introvert, super shy and has anxiety which all affect him and is the reason he makes a lot of mistakes, it's not like he didn't prepare enough, while Wonyoung had said herself that she never gets nervous of anxious which helps her with "never making mistakes". I am like Sunghoon and no matter if it's a basic and not important thing I am talking about, if I get nervous I will start stuttering and making mistakes in my speech. Yes Wonyoung is a crazy hard worker but even she herself said that she was just born with all her talents that makes her perfect for an idol life.

Wonyoung still has a lot of progress to do on her singing, and by knowing how much of a growth mindset she has, I can't wait to see how better she'll get in the next years

More than how an artist looks like, their lyrical, producing, or composing skills improving is much more admirable and gorgeous to me. The healthiest way to interact with the intentional dizzying nature of K-Pop is to disengage with the content, and focus on the music. You won't get easily addicted this way either.

Arrogant≠confidence.

I have been a really negative person since I was a child because I had a really bad life so it kind of stuck with me to be super negative and talk to myself in a bad way even as an adult but for the past 6 months I have been changing the way that I talk to myself and the way that I think and my life has never been better up until now. Not too long ago I have remembered this Wonyoung's way of thinking and I have been doing the same ever since. Everything "bad" that happens I try to see it in a good way, like it happened in my favor, and when something good happens I immediately tell myself "uhhh I am sooo lucky 😊". This mindset is literally life-changing. I have never felt better and been more positive in my entire life and I am almost 27 now. I wish I was able to do this sooner, but I guess it's never too late to change your life for the better, I am still super young 🍀🌼

You are totally right. To me he is the GOAT. I'am watching figure skating since I was a child with interruptions. But then and now there is no fair judgement. This is so sad for this beautiful sport. Yuzuru find out lots of things, which can be an improvement, but the ISU didn't change. Anyway, there lost the best they have.

I *kinda* think that beauty does influence someone's self-concept. The positive reactions one can receive solely through beauty can even surpass other talents, prolly because beauty is the first attribute one can notice about you (atleast on the first meeting) One way to build a no-nonsense self-concept (when it comes to beauty) is to just KNOW that whatever you do, however you look, IS BEAUTIFUL! "oh, you messed up your haircut? Beautiful!" etc~ On a side note, I'd say Beauty & Money are huge influences on someone's self concept~ Happy Manifesting!

I think this man said it correctly when he said he was "BORN to skate." When he was young and interviewed he said he wanted to achieve the Olympics Gold metal and bring it home to his city and country. Other videos expose him to fans where he yells in Japanese "Thank you very much." He has questioned hiimself in the face of his fans and loves to please them. Her has brought unity, honestly and respect to the skating, and figure skating world. He gives compliment to his fellow figure skaters and all he meets. This young man receives that which he has worked diligently for, while others are wasting their lives. There is little doubt he is great warrior.
