I use a Japanese product, GodHand Kamiyasu-Sanding Stick. I use #400 or #1000 depending on the location and process.

Thank you! For the rear-view mirror, a 3mm plastic plate was cut to the Milan size and glued to the tip of the wire. Then, it was shaped with sandpaper.

Thanks for your comment! The mirror was created with BONDIC, an adhesive that cures with a UV light.

Wicked, currently doing this but with the new casting the 928 safari…. Question I’m in Canada and want to know what putty you use. I use a gorilla glue epoxy but I like the fact that water helps smooth yours where it does not with the putty I use. Can you please let me know what putty that is
