you’re so right!
I'm glad this resonated with you!! What bit of action are you taking this week?
Hi
Thank you. ❤
No problem! I'm glad this was helpful! Is this usually a struggle for you?
It is, actually. I'm working on it and getting better, but it can be hard sometimes. @@sweatsimple
100% it can be one of the hardest parts of losing fat. What feels like the hardest part of going out to eat for you?
👍 Great Info
Thank you so much! Are you trying to lose fat right now?
Good morning 😊
Thanks for being here!
@@sweatsimple hello you're always welcome 🤗
Hi
craving pizza 😊
i love it 😊
watching here from the Philippines 😊😊
This podcast episode is really insightful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on false hope. It’s a topic we all need to be mindful of
Thank you so much for listening! We can be in this cycle of inaction without even realizing it
Gym partner? 😏🤔
My mom is trying to lose belly fat, can you please give me some tips so I can tell her she's been she has been trying for a year now and she's only a lost a couple pounds and she keeps gaining them. Please tell me
You're so sweet to be thinking about your mom! My page has a LOT of fat loss tips so I definitely recommend her following me! The first thing to keep in mind is that we can't spot target fat so she'll need to focus on overall fat loss first. I have a free Beginners Guide To Fat Loss in my bio which will help get her started!
Your videos are very good and your editing skills are excellent, but your videos are not reaching many people. The main reason for this is that your videos are not SEO optimized. I am a RUclips video SEO expert and would like to optimize your videos. "And I would like to help move forward with monetizing your RUclips channel." ar you interested in this?
Just shove your face with everything. You are paying for the whole buffet anyways
I think this comment was meant to be a joke but this is actually something a lot of people struggle with! Overeating at buffets because they already paid for it and/or it's hard to limit yourself when food is unlimited. I'm hoping this video helps people who struggle with that start to learn how to approach these situations in a more balanced way if fat loss is important to them.
Why didnt i think of that 😅
These small non-negotiables can be a game changer! Of course there are some really special trips where you just want to fully enjoy without thinking about health and fitness. But if you travel often these can be really helpful!
Maybe thats true, but if ya wanna lose 15 pounds you need to separate food from "enjoyment" cut out all the sugary garbage and empty carbs, prioritise saving money and commit to water and intermittent fasting
I actually think food CAN be enjoyment. Of course food is fuel and it's important to prioritize nutrient dense foods but food is also connection. With my clients I help them learn how to enjoy food AND lose fat. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
@@sweatsimple i personally just think that the enjoyment aspect of food can and will often lead to a self accelerating loop, its not about finding the process of eating displeasurable, the goal with my method is complete apathy (which isnt a bad thing) combined with actually healthy things in moderation as counterintuitive as it sounds
That sandwich looks delicious 😋
@@angelsystem8476 thank you so much, it was!
I mean that’s not a balanced meal but there is alot worst you could be eating for sure.
@@trentevans3997 protein: Turkey Carb: bread Veggie: tomato & spinach Fat: cheese Hits all the macro & micronutrient groups I recommend hitting at every meal!
How is is not balanced?
@@sweatsimple breads are some of the worst carbs you can intake. Unless you are baking it yourself. So many extra ingredients that add to its issues. Also, standard sandwich breads tend to have a glycemic index of 100, which ice cream is 61. This unnecessary spike of your insulin will make it harder for your liver to break down fats.
You kind of sound like a living dookie rn
I've personally found that for myself & the people I help, the stress of avoiding certain foods is more harmful to our overall health than enjoying everything in moderation. I used to avoid bread about 10 years ago. Now, I eat some form of bread everyday & I can say without a doubt I'm the happiest AND healthiest I've ever been. Lots of foods cause your insulin to spike including protein. It's a natural response & unless you're a diabetic, your body regulates these spikes just fine.
Let me eat what I want woman 😂😢😅😊❤🎉
I am ALL for eating what you want & if you enjoy these snackle boxes...keep eating them! But if your goal is fat loss & it's been feeling difficult lately & a lot of your meals & snacks look like this, it's something to keep in mind. The cool thing about fat loss & nutrition is that it's always in YOUR control & your choice!
I’m here
❤
Thank you so much for the comment!

This Pyramid is wrong. Calorie Deficit is either the very top because it's the goal to achieve fat loss, or it's at the base because it's a hard requirement. In no circumstances should it exist in the middle layers. Now that I think more about it... It should not be in there at all. Calorie Deficit is also literally the same thing as fat loss. So, you have the name of the pyramid as a layer of the Pyramid itself. It makes no sense at all. Maybe try a pie chart and just leave out calorie deficit.
I understand what you’re saying and 100% a calorie deficit is the ONLY way to lose fat. The point of this video was to show that some people ONLY focus on calories but the things at the bottom of the pyramid will make being in a calorie deficit much easier. If you don’t have the bottom 2 sections of the pyramid down you likely won’t be in a calorie deficit consistently which means you won’t make progress.
@@sweatsimple Then take Calorie deficit out of the pyramid and name the pyramid "caloric deficit" which is synonymous with "fat loss" in this instance.
Hey, there Fantastic video ❤❤ But I noticed some critical issues hindering your channel's growth. That's why you are not getting the views and subscribers you deserve!! Thanks for being here!
Great video! You can hear it from me too! I’m 25 and have now lost 17 kilograms in 5-months through eating more of the right things and I don’t calorie count and haven’t been training for a while. I have always calorie counted and used to do nothing but sports from the age of 8 through until I left school at 18 and my calorie deficits were insane, but I’d always still put the weight on - most frustrating thing! I’m also documenting my journey on RUclips and would love to connect 😊🔥
Huge congrats to you on your weight loss! I'm glad you found that restrictive calorie deficits aren't the most beneficial & properly fueling your body can be so much more beneficial!
simple carbs that turn to sugar and oxalates to inflame you body yummy
Yes carbs are yummy! Simple carbs turn into an immediate energy source for your body. Personally I feel best when I eat carbs as do many people. But you should do what's right for you :)
Lol. Carb addiction. Probably the reason your meals aren't satisfying without.
Carbs are your bodies preferred energy source & your body needs carbs for fuel. There's no reason to be afraid of carbs!
@@sweatsimple there's no data to back that up. your body can use fat too. I'm not sure whats healthier for the masses. Many people feel better with no carbs. They also have a strong dopamine effect on the brain. Likely supposed to cycle them as we would naturally. Carbs available 24/7/365 not good.
and also because food is food!! i try to not guilt myself for eating period
1000% yes! I also work with my clients to help them ditch the food labels & start looking at food as more neutral! You're not "good" for having a salad and you're not "bad" for having pizza. It's just food :)
You need tan

Is that why new moms keep piling on the pounds?
Not necessarily and there are a lot of lifestyle changes that come with being a new parent! But the lack of sleep absolutely can impact your hunger hormones which will make you more likely to snack & eat a bit more. I work with a lot of new moms though and there are ways to work through this even when sleep is impacted!
Well thank you now I know why😂
Yes! Do you struggle with sleep?
@sweatsimple Sometimes, especially when I didn't sleep good the night before, and if I don't go to sleep around the hour, I normally go to sleep. I just don't feel tired after that. But I can fall asleep after that, which is just more difficult and mostly between 1-2 am...Do you have any tips maybe?
Absolutely! Do you have a bedtime routine at all? It sounds like maybe you're going out to bed at different times each night?
@sweatsimple Yes, most of the time I go to sleep around 9-10 pm and wake up at 6 am (for school), but in vacations (like now), it gets totally messed up. SO what you mean is that I should have a routine of when I go to sleep and when I wake up so I get used to it? Or do you mean something else?
Cant believe that some grown ass people need an advice that is normally given to 14-15y olds to maximum 18y olds...by 20 it should be a routine...if someone cannot handle that...better to not start a family- be lazy and degrated, live in dirt and misery...i dont like the idea of treating grown ups like kids... you had your time to learn basic life habbits...its pathetic and hilarious at the same time😂
I see where you’re coming from but how do you get past the point that it might also feel like work…the sounds so lazy but like do you get where I’m coming from like I just wanna sit on the couch and ignore everything not really meal prep but I get it
100% understand where you're coming from and this is where a lot of people struggle! Here's the thing: it is work & you probably won't want to do it most of the time. But if you have goals you're trying to hit it's important to learn how to show up for yourself even when you don't feel like it. Motivation comes from taking action so in order for this to start feeling "easier" and to have more motivation to do it...you have to start by taking action. I would start small. Tell yourself you just have to cut up some veggies or put chicken in the crockpot. You can watch netflix while you do it or listen to a favorite podcast! But sometimes it's about showing up anyways even when it feels hard.
Calorie deficit is a stupid idea. You either permanently change eating habits or you dont. "Diet" is equal to holding your breath. Does not sustain any result.
Hi there! A calorie deficit is the only way to lose weight :) It simply means you're eating less calories than your body burns throughout the day. There are LOTS of ways to get into a calorie deficit. I prefer to get into a calorie deficit by helping people change their eating habits & lifestyle like you said :)
Underrated 😁
I love that everything is considerate and practical for anyone to follow 🤍 I’d add noodles or replace the cookies with cereal or mochi 💕 What would you recommend to take for lunchtime at college?
Yes I'm all about simple meals that anyone can replicate! You could bring a salad like this or some sort of sandwich or wrap. There's really no right or wrong & it's about the types of food that you enjoy!
