Is it worth all the money? I heard about this resort called secrets royal beach club. I want to go next year, maybe April to save some money as it is off peak season I guess.
I haven’t been to Secrets but I know their resorts are top tier! April is still nice there!
TRS has the worst food I stayed in Cap Cana and lost weight during my stay because I couldn’t eat what they were serving

Yeah honestly I wouldn’t book this for your honeymoon lol are you stuck on DR? Mexico might be better? They have a TRS there that’s apparently much better?
@@augustina_amp we actually just booked the at playa del carmen resort Grand Velas Riviera Maya in the Grand Class Section with pool suite like literally just paid a few minutes ago lol it looks amazing and very romantic and food reviews are great

Muchas gracias por tu lindo comentario 💕. Me alegro mucho que te guste mi video reseña del resort. Desafortunadamente, las camas balinesas son adicionales y tienen seguridad que también vigilan esa área. Tienen paquetes para las camas que incluyen bebidas y snacks también.
I have been to this resort and I really liked it. It is a quiet resort however the gem is that you have access to the other properties that has the casinos, bars, night life, and hydrotherapy.

We went to Secrets Akumal in México, near Tulum, and the food was so so good! I think the food in Secrets resorts is generally good quality.
I really need to go there! Have you been to other Secrets resorts?
@@augustina_amp Sadly I haven't but I've read good things about Secrets Cap Cana and Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana and Secrets Maroma and Secrets Moxché in Cancún. I suggest looking them up and reading reviews!

Ahah awww no it’s still okay! It’s not a bad entry level resort. But like don’t go there for the food lol
We're goin there in april...pretty sure we got the junior suite garden view. Im in Pennsylvania so we gotta drive up to NY to get on the plane which i think is like a 4hr flight. This is gonna be our first time goin to the Dominican Republic so your tips are very informative

@@augustina_amp yup a whole week. I think we're headed up to NY April 28th to fly down. Was gonna leave from Maryland but I think the flight that's leavin NY is a better deal. I've been watching mad videos and reviews for dos and donts. Never was on a plane so that kinda kicks up my anxiety but in hoping my doc can give me somethin to sedate me 😆😆😆 but definitely lookin forward to goin down. The tip bout the butlers sending list of activities via Whatsapp, you're the only one who's given that tip so we're definitely gonna download that for the list of activities. No lie your video is probably one of the most informative thank you people like me appreciate the in-depth review

@@augustina_amp the service the food attention to detail . Roving Drink Cart doing the day . Water bucket beside your pool chair . Just everything. The food is by far the best food o have had at an all inclusive anywhere including Sandals . This by far is my go to resort

You’re so welcome! Yes they do but it’s kinda spotty in some areas. It didn’t work too well in our room. Worked well in the restaurant and surprisingly parts of the beach!
So the Bali beds are not included or is that just to reserve the bed?
They aren’t included unfortunately. You have to reserve and pay for them. They have security watching them as well
@@augustina_amp every TRS has free bali beds at pools and beach area. There will be some marked for premium experience or travel club

I’m looking to book this for two nights in November for my birthday. I’m doing two nights at an Airbnb the first two nights, then I want to do a all-inclusive, adult only resort the other two nights. Which resort would you suggest for night life, if you have any? I seen your response to others about Turquesa night life. Also, did your room have the jetted tub?
For nightlife I’ve heard breathless, riu, CHIC, or hardrock resorts. TRS was okay for nightlife but it def wasn’t crazy! Yes our room had a tub I think they all come with one!
How’s the night life do they have any night clubs ?
Night life was alright. I didn’t see any nightclubs on the resort. They did have a beach party the first night and a paint night! There’s also a sports bar that plays music.

Helios was great for breakfast and mediocre for dinner. I felt the same way about the salmon appetizer. I had the kabobs entree which was pretty good. The steak entree at La Boheme was wonderful. I’m booking another trip there and realized I got a phenomenal deal the last time. It’s easier to look past one not so decent food item when you can get room service anytime or go to the sports bar place 24/7. And the beach grill had great food every day. I can’t wait to go back!

This is just the regular junior suite! Basically the entry level room

Usually transportation is included in your flight and hotel package. I wanted a private transfer. Who did you book your trip with?
I just left the TRS and loved it. I had a jr suite swim up room. My Butler was informative and attentive. We got premium liquor in our room and patron at the bar. The hydrotherapy and spa was beautiful and relaxing. The Chic cabana show was very entertaining. You have access to 3 connecting resorts. Hemingway party until 2am. For transportation I just sent my link to the group and round trip transportation was a breeze.
Amazing! I’ve always wanted to try a swim out suite! What was the best thing about it? 💕
At the TRS You have a nice wide space, 2 sets of chairs in the water and out. You can request additional as well. It stretched from one end of the building to the next. No closing hours.

I highly recommend TRS Punta Cana. I’ve been to La Blanc in Cancun and it was much nicer in some ways but also way more expensive with not as many pools and other resorts and restaurants and places to see. The beach on Cancun wasn’t much different than the gulf beaches in Florida. The beach at TRS was very tropical. I’m not super picky when it come to food and I found I was always satisfied at TRS. Maybe not blown away, but everything was enjoyable. I agree, the lobby bar provides excellent drinks and service and sometimes the bartenders would put on a show. It was always a fun time. I felt like royalty, especially with a swim up suite and spa package. I would go back in a heartbeat. When I consider the overall cost of that trip including the flight it was insane what we got. Maybe the fridge didn’t get super cold, but the butlers will bring whatever you want even ice, and the bars are always open so what’s to complain about? La Blanc Cancun was exquisite and so luxurious. TRS is older and that can be clearly seen, but it’s ridiculous compared to what you could find in a hotel or resort in America. There is no comparison.

@@augustina_amp my wife and I ordered some spa treatments through our butler. They gave us a book of vouchers and coupons upon arrival. We did a couples massage as well as the spa circuit which is a series of hot and cold pools and mud bath and sauna, stuff like that. We really enjoyed ourselves. Every moment of our trip was basically paradise. Just pampering ourselves constantly.

6:22 just go to the pool first and then scope the beach around 11 and you’ll find a spot. There’s also a stack of chairs all the way to the right and so you can grab chairs and set up wherever you want. - pro tip

@@augustina_amp Cuba has my heart I enjoy all inclusive resorts because when I go alone or with my family I like to relax and swim in the beautiful turquoise ocean for hours every day. My favourite resort at the moment is the Iberostar Bella Vista in Varadero it’s new and modern, the ocean views are amazing and you can’t beat the prices. I just booked my next trip there for October and I am so happy I got the Star prestige suite all to myself ! Yay ! 🥰🏖️😎

How do you know when you are booking a small excursion vs a big one
For the small group tour (this one) is $125 USD per person. The large one is $75 USD per person. The small tour goes with a speedboat and the larger ones take a giant almost ship like boat ahaha. The smaller ones usually don’t take more than like 30 people. I’m going to do a full length video on this!

Everyone staying at TRS gets a butler! There’s about 3 for each building! They have a desk in the lobby of the room buildings as well

Having been to Punta Cana 8 times, the towel on the chair in the morning game is played at every resort. I'm pretty sure people were even leaving towels on the chairs the night before and not even getting up in the morning. There is just no getting around it. I was at TRS a couple years ago and had a great time though. Elin and Delores on the beach were the best servers I've ever had.
What’s your favourite resort in Punta Cana? I agree, they must be leaving them overnight. It sucks but what can you do! I’m so glad you had a great time!
@@augustina_amp Honestly the Royalton Bavaro is good, been there three times. Majestic Mirage is also very good, been there twice. Nice thing about the Mirage is it's mainly adults only and the adults only rooms are 'club' level, so you get the butler and services. Never go to Ocean Blue and Sand!!!!

Just lay a towel on the sand or get one of those chairs that are stacked up! Or you could just hover the spots until someone leaves. Or chuck their towels on the sand and tell them to kick rocks. I was there for a week and had zero problem getting a great spot on the beach every day. But I didn’t care to get out there until after 11 am anyway. Maybe the early risers were napping by that point

Does TRS TURQUESA Adult Only Resort have access to the other Palladium resorts?
Yes they do! You can eat at all their restaurants as well.
Okay so food is a PLUS! But does that include the other resort activities as well? For example, the nightclub, am i able to have access?
Yes you can! You have full access to everything! They have some night parties which are fun as well. The resort grounds are very big.
Haha I was watching your videos on Tiktok earlier this week and you even replied back to my comment lol!! My group is still planning on booking our resort any day now!!! Rest of the group is leaning heavy towards TRS as it is an afforadable option compared to other resorts, but I'm a big foodie and not sure I want to play roulette with our food when we're paying this much. We'll see if we go there or not and will def come back to update which resort we chose and went to!

@@augustina_amp I'm new to this resort life. I've only been to the TRS Coral and TRS Yucatan. I thought Coral would be my fave but Yucatan has my heart. The workers were amazing, the resort was bigger and had more to do plus the grounds are so pretty.
How was the food at TRS yutcan?!
@@augustina_amp I think it was ok. I remember Helios, Gaucho, Sumptuori, Capricho being really good. Room service was good too. There are so many restaurants you are bound to find something you like. We went to Gaucho 3 times!

I've gone to Chic at TRS Coral and TRS Yucatan. I loved it both times. I liked some dishes better than others but overall it's a great show. I think the Mexico properties are superior in every sense but I'm going to Turquesa later in the year to try something new. Where can I see the longer videos?

I booked my excursion through Punta Cana Transfers! They aren’t part of the hotel and you have to pay extra for them! I felt very safe yes everyone was very friendly and it was a great time! Are you thinking about going? 💕

Yeah so they tell you to get there for 730 and that’s when the pre show is which is about an hour or so then you go inside to the show which is another two-three hours lol so I guess it’s really four! I hope you have a wonderful trip!
