There used to be good world class national development plans that existed in many of the federations prior and after 1994. Remember this country did go to Civil War. There was smooth transition. Let us be honest. The problems in all the federations is mismanagement. Decisions are mainly political. Politics come and and influence sport management and the entire foundation breaks down. Officials are not appointed as on their abilities but whether they respect certain ideologies of a political party (Deployment) Organize an indaba per organization. Record the inputs of all the members, officials and managers. The answers will be the same across. It's unmatchimg of incumbents to the task required by a portfolio. Then greed takes over. Offcourse that official has no love for the sport or the job does not impress him. So he does things anyhow and awaits month end. He will steal resources and be involved in corruption, because he has no love for the sport. He must chow and share with his colleagues who put him there. That s all. Don't waste money and time and consult. World class documents are there. Bring the right people, whether they are black, colored or Indian appoint them. Being them back and reward them. Match budgets to actuals and follow up on the variances. Be accountable. Don't cooperate in the abuse of the funds of federations. Avoid clicks at administration, brotherhood and comradery syndrome. Find a good mix based on performance and service delivery. Go overseas and recruit South Africans who have immigrated mix them with promising up and coming youngsters. Build new schools with adequate sport facilities. Send coaches and administrators to good schools for training. Start developing athletes from a young age not these short cuts of back door payments. Once you see a federation where there is high turnover of executive committee members, office staff, volunteers, management reduction in athlete numbers, no new facilities being built, repaired or maintained, no new quality entries of teams staff, lack of development clinics, camps, regional, provincial and national competitions etc, that federation is already dead. It's about the love, the discipline, dedication and devotion. For if you love the sport you will feel guilty about taking bribes, abusing grants and gate fees, abusing sponsorship resources. You would want to see medals and world cup victories only. Not a cent you will misuse. Get the right people for jobs please and stop this brotherhood.

Thus far we've had a belief that an international diffusion of dance sport including Africa and some Islam countries had had an apparent limit....but this Inter-Provincial Youth event in South Africa and an event in Malaysia gives us a good news as to the possibility of world-wide spread of this Sport...Congratulations...!
