@@allanbernardino2977 to be honest with you I am not sure about the contactless credit card payment option at the gate. They have ticket machines just before you enter the gate for the station. @@prachiprachirisbud9881 first of all thank you for watching my video and for your question. I really appreciate it. To answer your question, as a British citizen you don’t need a transit visa. Hello I’m heading there next week, do their custom give people hard time? By the way I used to live in the suburbs of Chicago
@@jaboubaa928 first of all I want to thank you for watching my video and for your question. The answer to your question is No. The customs officers are very professional and they have two sections one is green and the other one is red. The green zone is for nothing to declare. So if you think that you have nothing that can be taxed by the french government then go through the green zone but if you think that, there is something that might be taxed under the french law than you have to use the red zone and declare it to the french customs authorities. I nothing but clothes so I used the green zone and there some customs officers there who monitor you and if they suspect that you may have something that can be taxed or illegal to bring into to the country than they randomly check passengers who use the green zone. I hope this helps you understand the process. By the way which suburb of Chicago you lived in? @@BlueSkies360 first of all I want to thank you for watching my video. I really appreciate it. Hi, thank you so much for the information. On 31 dec, my husband and I will going to Saudi Arabia and enter via Jeddah using VoA for the 1st time. I wonder what airlines were you taking in this video and how long it takes from gate to the VoA kiosk. And if we choose to apply from the kiosk, should we proceed to the VoA desk or allow to go directly to the immigration for getting the visa number and border number?
@@DewintaGarini-uo7bl first of the thank you for watching my video. I really appreciate it. To answer your question, I flew Turkish Airlines from Istanbul. I went to the kiosk and put all my information in the kiosk and got my visa in arrival. You should not forget directly to the immigration counter as the officer will send you back to the kiosk and in that case you will lose valuable time. I would suggest that use the kiosk and then go to the immigration officer with the visa receipt. Also do not lose that visa receipt as when you will leave the immigration counter and then the baggage hall the immigration and customs officer will again ask you to show your visa receipt. Also that visa receipt is valid for one year and for multiple visits. Take a picture of the receipt as well. I hope this helps you understand the process better. @@hilifetravel8764Thank you for the respond. We are going to fly Turkish Airlines in the morning from Krakow to Istanbul for the 1st leg. The 2nd leg by Saudia with ETA 22.20, hoping that there is still enough time for us to walk to the kiosk because 31 Dec is the last day of our Schengen visa validity, that's why I wonder could we make it or not. Wish us luck.
@ good luck and happy travels.
@@DewintaGarini-uo7bl hello I also plan to travel to Saudi with Schengen visa, but as far as I understood your visa need to be valid for at least 3month to be eligible to apply for VoA or eVisa.
@@kf168 hello, thank you for the respons. Initially, I thought the same like you but I had contacted the KSAvisa on twitter which is surprisingly fast respond. For E-visa, yes, they said the schengen visa must be used at least once, have an entry stamp from the issuing country and with minimum 3 months validity. In another word, it has to be multiple entry visa since Schengen countries recently are strict to give longer duration of stay(s) in the case of single entry. Meanwhile VoA they said it has to be valid upon arrival; have entry stamp from the issuing country and used at least once REGARDLESS validity remaining. Some fellow countrymen who hold single entry schengen told me that they were allowed to enter Saudi using VoA, even the expired ones (though it's only 1 day after the final validity date. I don't want to take that risk, for me it's pure luck). In the end, I rescheduled my flights Krakow-x/Istanbul-Jeddah to be in the same traveling date, 31 Dec. From one night layover to 5 hours recheck-in transit in Istanbul. That's the safest deal I can do.
Thank you for responding quickly sir. I have been on call with the airlines to confirm the same but no luck in even connecting to the Customer support and got your response in the mean time. This is my first time flying with turkish airline and long layover in istanbul so, little nervous and anxiety. Pls reply Thank you.
@@Riya-c5l2f thank you so much for watching my video and for your compliment on my video. I really appreciate it. To answer your question, you have to go through first international transfer security check that is the main security check where they check your boarding pass and your luggage has to go through the screening. Once you are finished with security check then you go to the departure lounge where you can look for your flight and the gate information. Usually the gate information doesn’t come on until 2 hours before departure time. For India all you have to go to the gate and wait for your flight at the gate and once the flight is announced you get in line with your boarding pass and passport. The airline counter staff will scan your boarding pass and your passport and then you can go inside gate bridge which will attach to your plane. That’s the process for going to India. But on your way back to the United States you have to go through two security checks. First one is the same international transfer security checkpoint and then once you arrive at the gate the security personnel will ask you few questions and then your hand luggage will be checked and that is the process for coming back. I hope this helps you understand the process better. Thank you again for watching my video. Please consider subscribing and sharing my channel. Thanks for your time and support. Happy travels.

One security person will check your bag and will ask you if you are carrying items from anyone and then will swipe a paper through your bag and other items put through the screen machine for any explosive and that it. Remember this is for your flight coming back to the United States not for traveling to India. But if you are arriving in Saudi Arabia to meet your family or for the visit you don’t have to be in Ahram. You can go to your hotel, meet your family and take some rest and then you can go to Masjid Aisha, clean yourself by taking a shower cut off your unnecessary hairs and pray two rakah at the masjid for the intention of Umrah and then head to the Haram to perform Umrah. I hope this will clear some questions about Ahram. Thank you for watching my video. Please consider subscribing my channel for more informative videos. Thanks again for your time and support.
Hi, I have Us green card so i can get on arrival visa?
@@MuhammadNashit-y9x yes, you can. According to the ministry of hajj and unrah of Saudi Arabia any person holding a US passport , permanent residence card or even a valid US visa and had traveled on that visa before can get a visa on arrival at any Saudi Arabia airport. All you have to do is to put all the required information in the form while applying for the visa at the airport and pay the required visa fee and you will get the visa. Once you get the visa hold on to the visa receipt it is your visa and that receipt will be checked at the immigration counter by the immigration officer and once you get your luggage and going outside the airport. That receipt is valid for one year multiple entries. I hope that helps you understand the process. Thank you for your question and thank you for watching my video. two connecting flights at ISTANBUL AIRPORT WITH DIFFERNT flight companies how can collect my loggage at international area ? where is location transfer desk ?
@@samirkanjo3471 so first of all I thank you for watching my video. I really appreciate it. To answer your question I want to know do you have two different airlines tickets one is to Istanbul and the other one from Istanbul to your final destination or two different airlines on one ticket? If you have two different airlines with two separate tickets then you have to go through immigration and customs colect your luggageand go outside to the departure lounge and recheck yourself with the second airline and then go through the security and immigration and then go to your your second airlines departure gate and take your flight. But if you have one ticket with two separate airlines on them then you should ask your ticket counter person at your local airport to give you the boarding pass for your onward flight from Istanbul to your final destination if he says that you can get it in Istanbul then you should tell him no I want the onward boarding pass if he gives you one then you make sure it is for your onward flight and then when you arrive in Istanbul you can go to the international transfer desk which is just in from of international transfer security checkpoint and make sure that this is the right boarding pass. After that you just have to go to the through the international transfer passenger security checkpoint and then it will lead you to the international departure lounge where you can find out your second airlines gate and just go to your flight gate and wait for your flight to depart. I hope this helps you understand the process little bit better. Thanks again for watching my video please consider subscribing and sharing my channel for more informative videos. @@itsssmadmadders7801 the customer service agents of the airline did check my passport and since I was traveling on a US passport I didn’t have to have a visa to travel to Saudi Arabia since they have allowed US citizens to get a visa on arrival. That’s why I made this video to show the visa on arrival process at Madina airport for the citizens of Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and for those who have a valid schengen visa and a valid US visa and they traveled on that visa. I have one hour layover at IST while traveling from lahore to Amsterdam, will this be enough ? Is there any fast service for short connections?
@@iamuzairashfaq to be honest with you to that is not enough time to go through the international transfer security check and then go the departure gate. Remember the time that shpws is from the time the plane lands not when it arrives at the gate. It can take up to a good 30 minutes to gate to the gate and disembark from the plane and then you have to walk to the international transfer security checkpoint go through the security and then go the next gate. So in my opinion you should have at least two hours of time feim the time you land and to your next flight. I hope this helps you understand the process little bit better. Thanks for watching my video I really appreciate it. Please consider subscribing and sharing my channel for more informative videos. Thanks again for your time and support.
Hi , That was a very helpful video. I am sure will help many people using the self transfer hack for cheaper fares. I plan same route with a self transfer of two hours only at SAW ( i am not sure if this video shows istanbul airport or sabiha gokcen). Being self transfer we will have to check in separately at sabiha for our onwards flight yo madine. I am british and travelling without checked luggage. Do I need to get a visa for self transfer after landing. I am worried about long queues and possiblity of missing my madina flight or my london to saw being delayed and being left stranded at saw. Since i booked two separate tickets. i would not be eligible to being adjusted on another flight probably. 😊
@@banabozo first of all thank you so much for your compliment on my video I really appreciate it. To answer your question two hours time in my opinion is enough time as long as you are flying single airline and your flight form london to SAW is not delayed. If you have bought two separate tickets with two different airlines than you have to go through immigration and recheck your self with the other airlines and then go through the immigration and customs and security procedures. In that case your two hours layover is not enough. Because you have to go through the immigration process even though you have no checked baggage immigration process can be long. So to make the process easier I think your your two hours would be cutting it very close. About my video it was about Istanbul main airport. As for you are British then you don’t need a visa as you are eligible for visa on arrival. I hope this helps you understand the process little better. I am travelling from Mumbai To Vancouver Via Istanbul. I hv question. I am travelling as a international student. Both are turkish flight..but my first flight late or I am late due to some reasons.....second flight will wait?
@@Liveandletlive1804 first of all I wish you best of luck in your studies. To answer your question, unfortunately the answer is no, unless there are many passengers on your flight from Mumbai to Istanbul are also going to Vancouver. If that is the case then the airline will hold the plane if the first flight is arrving 10 or 15 minutes late from Mumbai, if the flight the more than one hour late than they will not wait for the flight and the flight for Vancouver will leave. The airline will then rebook you for the next flight to Vancouver or send you through Toronto or Montreal if possible for that you have to go to the international transfer desk to get your self rebook. If there no option available for that day Turkish airlines will provide you a hotel room and will rebook you on the next flight to Vancouver for the next day. I hope that helps you understand the process. Please consider subscribing and sharing my channel with your family and friends. Thanks again for your time and support. Happy travels.
