    One big thing I disagree with here, chalk is always an option especially if you're working grip strength and endurance, or if you just got really sweaty hands and needs to keep them dry during a set

      Majority of sweets have low nutritional value while also being high in calories, if you're someone who gorges on sweets, then throwing away all your sweets is beneficial. Take a second to think about what he's saying, before regurgitating youtube fitness influencer talking points.

    Good video, some feedback: Look at the camera Try to change your pitch/tone to sound less robotic Try to get a new mic or go to a different room with less echo and maybe get an audio filter for reducing the harshness of the S's.

      I used to look at the camera on all of my older videos. The filming and editing process takes a while so I just read it straight from my notes to minimize time. I have a rode mic but not enough sound suppression in the room.

    I'm following the Stronglifts 5x5 program, and Mehdi (the guy who wrote the guide and program) recommends Pendlay rows or ground-up rows instead of Yates rows or hanging rows. Doing Pendlays might help folks focus on squeezing their backs more than their arms. I'm not sure. Thanks for the video.

      Pendlay rows are great for the program you’re running. Pendlay rows increase explosive power vs hanging rows are designed for Hypertrophy. Under the topic of shoulder retraction, if you don’t know the form for either, the average wouldn’t think about using their shoulders.

      I appreciate that. I have lady clients that love to wear them because it “makes them sweat”. I never tell them not to wear it but when they start complaining about how hot they feel I always blame the waist trainers and sauna suits. They’ll get the picture eventually.

    Every thing you said was true. Except the sit-ups. Core exercises do lead to higher belly lose due to the increased oxygen due to blood flow which does increase fat loss

      I see what you’re saying. It can be a contributing factor. However, a lot of women I train previously relied on core exercises and external factors to burn fat which is not the way to go.
