Celebrating Vinayaka Chavithi at Home
This year, the Vinayaka Chavithi (Ganesh Chaturthi) celebration in my home was a deeply personal and meaningful experience, as we invited Lord Ganesha into our household with immense devotion and enthusiasm. It all began with the selection of the idol - the heart of the festival.
Getting the Idol
A few days before the festival, I visited a nearby artisan shop that specializes in eco-friendly Ganesha idols. The streets were lined with colorful Ganeshas in various sizes, each unique in its form and design. After much contemplation, I chose a beautiful clay idol, handcrafted to perfection.
