How low can I adjust the monitor on the stand? I mean, what is the lowest distance from the desk surface to the bottom edge of the screen. It looks a bit high imo. I'm asking because I want to align it with my 2nd monitor. Thank you for the review and great video editing btw!

Excellent video! Especially the unboxing. One quick question please. When you pivot it to 90 degrees, does it auto rotate whatever is there on the screen? If no, then how to do it ? Thank you !
@@tommarty2325 honestly saying for the price it's decent, if your pc/laptop can handle 4K 60fps then you won't have any problems with this....There are several modes(HDR, cinema, sRGB) ... overall it's a good buy
One important thing: this monitor is not color accurate for graphic designer. The SRGB mode is very bad and poorly implemented. Otherwise it is a good monitor for content consumption.
@@lucasdomm Bought UP650, no return available here, colors are so shifted that I had to sell it to a friend for 75% of the price. Still using 5yr old 29 inch LG. Thinking about getting LG 34WN780.
@@lucasdomm 29 inch LG ( ultrawide, forgot the model name) is good enough for lower budget.. specially in Illustrator n Photoshop, there is more screen real estate in the middle for the artboard. LG 27qn600 is good too for print related designs.
Hey man great video! Really good quality of the footage, and good choice of music too. I'm also a designer, and i'm looking for a monitor, i've seen hundred videos on this topic, but no one was this good. keep up the good work! p.s. do you recommend this monitor?
Another question. Can you lower the brightness much so that it can be used in a dark room ? Elaboration... A bright display is great in a lit room. But in a dark room you need a display that you can adjust accordingly. On some monitors however, even their lowest brightness settings is still quite bright. On LG's website for this monitor there is a spec that sais Min Brightness 320 nits, which I interpret as the brightness of the monitor when the brightness setting is turned down to the lowest. What is your experience ?
I saw that as well, but that's doesn't make any sense. So my assumption is that, since the brightness of the units may vary Even if the specifications say *** number, I suppose it's saying that it won't be lower than that It says that 400 nits is the typical, though. So i guess the majority (or average?) Would be around that. There's no way that a monitor minimum brightness would be that high, even if it had 1000 nits, the hardware In such aspect.
Also, when the site inform "320 nits min" perhaps it's talking about the HDR, since, although the monitor is certified with vesa HDR 400 It's certainly doesn't have local dimming, which means the so called "high dynamic range" or some shit Inst that high, it can't be. So my assumption is that, when using the HDR, the brightest will top at 400 and the darkest at 320 But that's just an empty assumption
@@michikatsu8505 I think the minimum interpretation makes sense, and that it is perhaps somewhat worrisome that some regions of the screen could dip that low, but it also depends on area, I wonder how large the largest sub-area averaging as low as 320 nits would be and what the distribution would be on the other areas. It is unfortunate that I rarely find the screen I am interested in to be review by RTINGS (maybe because there are just so many screens out there, no main models like in the TV business). About, HDR400. Is that useful even ? Doesn't it A. mean you have to turn on a windows setting to make it work, rather than it automatically turning on when such content is fed to the screen and B. mean that it is not HDR10, so Netflix content is still SDR ?
Could you be kind enough to inform how thick is the arm behind the monitor? I can see the whole stand is 293mm, but i would like to know just the cylinder part of it.
It's "flicker safe", "flicker free" or whatever. I'd say any monitor nowadays is. You can go even further with built in Low blue light, like Dell "Comfortiview Plus." A dell 27" 4k monitor with it, that I know, is the p2723qe. But it's more expensive And doesn't have free sync or gsync

What about screen uniformity ? IPS glow ?
Im wondering too
The uniformity is quite even IPS glow is minimal, but if the screen is displaying something dark you do see some glow from the bottom.
