Defender is the Best car to offroad..
Yes, it's that simple. If you add lockers front and rear, it is also the best car to offroad by far, no matter how much electric wizardry they put into modern cars. I've got a 110 Station Wagon (10 seater) 300 Tdi on 33's mud terrain tires. Love it!
Great video, thanks for sharing. Despite all the cries for lockers in the comments below, i noticed you made it anyway! Sometimes driving ability or a couple tries will get you through without them. Just a heads up though, your steering wheel appears to be on the wrong side of the vehicle! 😄

Tremendous axle articulation and galvanized chassis but needs some diff locks like my Nissan Patrol Y60 TD inline 6, 4.2.

at 7.58, people should not be staying close to the winch cable when it's under stress, I've seen someone dead after cable snapping and gouging in to their scull, very dangerous.
My Discovery 3 can do this Better with out mud Tiers

That red 90 deffo needs a locked rear diff no drive to back wheels be a huge problem haha and it the back axle sways way to much flexs easy

I've been wondering if the swivel housing seal can be changed without stripping the hub down, thanks for that, will cut a nice amount of time, one of a few lockdown jobs I got to do.

Yes it is indeed. Changed a lot now. Twin locked 37” treps, roll cage etc

Looks like a great day out.
The red 90 looks capable but it need a locking rear diff at least. Flex is semi useless if you get no drive to the ground. Will negate the need for a run up on twisty stuff.

Yarwell. But now closed. Has been replaced. A place just down the road. The site is called Tixover. Pay and play site.
