However there is another way around the install issue: In the support folder delete Gfwlivesetup.exe and then make a copy of: vcredist_x86.exe in the same folder and rename that to Gfwlivesetup.exe. Two issues with this really. One is that you can't actually get GFWL installed... it just hangs on the install script. Second issue is that if you were to have it it wouldn't work anyway. I simply did the following steps. Downloaded the two DLL files from www.darquecathedral.org/archives/2253 and put them in the BINARIES/WIN32 folder of MKAK. I then edited the 203350_install.vdf to remove the reference to GFWL. I suppose you could also just remove the executable, copy vcredist_x86 and rename that to the original, so the install script thinks its installed. Bit of a pain but takes under a minute if you know what you are doing. Game then works fine. For sure this is going to be marked as "Unsuppported" *On the MKAK file folder you need to find and Delete a file and rename another, Enter support folder and look for Gfwlivesetup.exe,Delete it. The same folder vcredist_x86.exe rename: Gfwlivesetup.exe. Add the 2 dll files from the links to BINARIES/WIN32 folder of MKAK. All of that to get it working, and if you have an extra controller you can input codes and play 2 players on deck.

It's so wild to hear the music to this. In most arcades, you barely heard the games at all, especially not the intros, it was a mostly visual experience.

The intro still holds up over 20 years later. I wish the would put the remaster on switch or the switch 2 at this point with Link, Heihachi, and spawn. We need the full game.

Who is here after seeing MK2 in the last of us show episode 3 🔥

this was the first game i had for my GameCube. This intro NEVER failed to wow me. It made me proud to be a GameCube owner. And boi did i sink hours into this title. I got hooked on leveling my character in the story mode. This particular version might be the finest game of the entire franchise. I've played other ones - nothing else had the same X factor this one had. To be so early, it's so polished.
